Made this universal fixture that will allow any V8 block to be mounted to the milling machine.

Blocking (stepped keys) for a vanilla walk - assignment c1w8

Soundwave Block Party featuring Tiesto, Porter Robinson & other DJs! A night of dancing, meeting new people and having fun!

"Crown of Thorns" block (my new favorite!). Only the red (and the background) was in the original kit for the block. Everything else I subbed in.

This is almost the exact same block as the "Girl's Favorite". Strange that they're directly after one another in a block of the month quilt.

Amazing view from up here, you can see most of the city and across the river to Torpoint!!!!

Blocks at a childrens museum. I couldn't resist the colors!

the interactive quilt project quilt has been quilted by my favourite longarm quilter.

Architectural rendering of the Bitting Block at 107 N. Market in Wichita, Kansas. In 1888 Charles and Alfred Bitting built the Bitting Block for their clothing store. On January 2, 1911 the 4 story building was destroyed by fire. Immediately after the fire a new 4 story building was built with 7 additional stories added in 1918. The building is now vacant.

Block F for Oh Fransson's Mod Quiltalong. I finished these a week or so ago but didn't have a chance to get a photo up until now.

Bitty block idea for July.

I was trying to stay away from the American flag since it's an international swap. I'm thinking July - full of beaches, summer cookouts and watermelon! YUM! I was going to do something with ice cream, but started thinking about how many times we've seen ice cream in here (that would far surpass my meager skills) and opted for watermelon. I'm thinking different hair styles and shirt material to make them different. :)

What cha think?

St Nicholas's church at Saintbury sits on a high vantage point overlooking the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border atop Saintbury Hill, though oddly enough when approached by steep ascent through the village keeps itself mostly hidden amongst the dense foliage until one stumbles upon a pathway through the trees that reveals an enticing doorway framed by leaves beyond.

The building is largely of 14th & 15th century date, though its origins are clearly much older as witnessed by the simple Norman doorways in the nave (the north side being the main entrance, that on the south side is blocked).

The interior preserves an atmosphere of antiquity in its fittings, with fragments of medieval glass in the east window and substantial pieces of post-Reformation mural decoration in the chancel (Biblical texts, uncovered only recently).

The church is no longer used for regular services and is vested in the Churches Conservation Trust. For more details see below:

A view of the other part of the "L" which makes up the block.

It is taking me approximately 45 minutes per block.
