There has been a drug store on this corner since 1885. In the '20s it became part of the Block chain, and went independent in the '40s, and still survives today among a sea of chains... Second Avenue, East Village, NYC

En cette belle et douce soirée printanière, la BB7230, officiant alors pour le compte d'Intercités depuis quelques mois seulement, est vue en tête du train de nuit 3741 reliant Tarbes à Paris-Austerlitz. Le train, circulant sur Block Manuel et sous une belle caténaire MIDI plus que vintage, vient alors franchir la petite gare de Coarraze-Nay et se dirige vers Pau.
En arrière-plan, les Pyrénées et le pic du Midi encore légèrement enneigés.

I think he has quite the crooked face, but I thought he looked so cute, I couldn't resist.
He is going to work out just fine.
Love is a very mysterious thing. They way you love your pets is far different then your Mother or Father. And once again not the same as your brother, etcetera. Every relationship you have ever been in is another different Love.
I would rather sometimes think that I just like someone a whole bunch. Just like them so much that I want to be with them a great deal.

One of Judd's largest undertakings involved 15 clusters of boxes installed in a one-kilometer long arrangement on the grounds of Chinati. Each cluster, different in make, gives the viewer a different framed of blocked view of the local landscape. The boxes, measuring about twelve feet in height. ~ source
2017 Photochallenge, week 4: Rule of Thirds/Toys and Games
While the blocks are centered, I felt the two towers and the base followed the rule of thirds. Is this a correct application of the rule of thirds?
Building blocks kept at our home to entertain grandchildren, when they visit.
West Block glows in the evening light as tourists stroll around Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario. This building is the interim location of Canada's Parliament as the House of Commons undergoes a ten-year renovation project. The dome of the temporary House of Commons pops up above the roof of the West Block.
TLTX 553778 sits blocked up right outside the “engine house” on the north end of Wallingford’s Tilcon plant. I believe this engines trucks were shipped out for some heavy maintenance and should return to service within the coming weeks.

The blocks - A long exposure at high tide of 'The blocks', the iconic zig zag breakwater on the outer sea wall at St Monans.
The three minute or so exposure turns the Firth of Forth silky smooth whilst the receding clouds create a sense of motion in the sky.

Even this block of apartments hasn't been spared from graffiti . . . artists or vandals?
The graphic pattern is part of the buildings design but I am not sure that in this case, the addition of the graffiti and splashes of paint are an enhancement.
This is from the Block Party wall last month. It's probably the biggest and most visible wall i've painted on to date. Big ups to everyone involved! Especially Tenser who got it all together.
I was going to add some more stuff and fix a few things, but too much time went by and I lost my motivation. Cars parked in front were also an issue for the ladder. It's good enough for now!
This is what I get when I try to connect to flickr in Dubai...have found a way around the block but it is tedious
