While a single building that takes up a fraction of the city block it sits upon, building constructed in 1910 is called "Vancouver Block". Designed in an art nouveau style, Historic Places Canada classified it as "Edwardian Commercial". The neon lighting around the clock and on its hands was installed in 1927. With a diameter of 22 feet, it was the largest clock in Canada when the building was completed.

'The New Lodge is an urban,working-class Catholic community in Belfast,Northern Ireland, immediately to the north of city centre.

The landscape is dominated by seven large tower blocks.

The seven tower blocks sited on the former Victoria Barracks which dominate the skyline of the area have been given names in Irish as some locals disliked the British connotations of the original names like "Churchill House" although these remain in common use.

However, street names like Queens Parade, Victoria Barracks, Victoria Parade and Churchill Street have not been affected by this policy.'

I don't know the name of this block but I found it at an antique store and had to have it. There were 3 more blocks but I had limited finances and picked the one that I liked the most.

Alex built a block city in the basement.

Of course, the day I leave is always the best day of the trip. This was taken at the Block Island Airport as I waited for my flight off island.

Man oh man, this block took half the morning to do. :) I'm pretty happy with it though, aside from one or two small issues.
