tough and inedible to pretty much anything that might eat it

Photo session with shiny blades. Sometimes you're opening inventory and things click together and lead to this. I was also playing with the Sky environment settings a lot.

With a roar of laughter, hurling the shroud from him, to the horror of the High Initiate, and other initiates, and the congregation, Ivar Forkbeard, almost seven feet in height, leaped to his feet, in his right hand clutching a great, curved, single-bladed ax of hardened iron.

"Praise be to Odin!" he cried.

I am admittedly not too old to remember wearing skates such as these, likely handed down to me from one of my older cousins. Two sizes too big, I would have to wear two pairs of socks to try to fill them.

There was something about the anticipation of getting out onto the local pond once it finally froze up satisfactorily, that the discomfort was soon lost to the fun and enjoyment.

I wonder what memories these skates could elicit: perhaps a winning goal, maybe romance, or just the freedom from distraction at the very moment of their use ...

My first entry for the LSB – Contest 2017

Category : Overkill Oval

Rheinhessen Industry: Blade Mark III

The Blade Mark III may not seem so massive at first sight as a conventional Speeder for the Overkill Oval. But this speeder is made for the fast fight contest. Equipped with a powerful shield generator, an ECM system of the latest generation, two short-range rockets and two tachyon guns.Is this speeder a big challenge for any type of opponents. The Antigravitations generator is also used for the propulsion. This results in a pollutant-free drive without exhaust gases. The agility of the Blade Mark III allows only outstanding pilots to control this Speeder.

This is my first entry in the Brickset Star Wars 'What's Missing?' building contest.

Note: If you build this you have to replace all green headlight bricks with 1x1 Technic Bricks. OK?

It is always nice to add a new shoe style to the collection and i just love these blade style chrome stiletto heels..I hope you enjoy them too, combined with fully fashioned nylons and a little leather number...that hint of class and tart combined...playfully pleasurable..

Central Maine & Quebec (CMQ) hauls Wind Turbine Blades through Prospect Maine this afternoon.

Charlie and I were trying to chase this train to the pair of blades near the power plant in Crawfordsville, IN We got to this location at the last second, not enough time to change lenses. I had too strong of a tele to get both the blades in the shot, so I just said "screw it" and picked one. I shot this location appx a dozen times, and this is probably my favorite shot. Crawfordsville, IN. 2/19/07

The blades of the oars in colour.

Photographed earlier this year when my Meyer-Optik Görlitz Primotar 135mm f3.5 was enjoying its honeymoon period. Unfortunately sidelined by the current darling, the Helios 40.

These were sticking up about 30 feet high from a planter which divided a parking lot and the Experience Music Project. Not sure if they are part of the design, but they reminded me of blades of grass. They swayed back and forth in the breeze, so I had to shoot several to make sure I had a sharp one.

They had a golden glow from the nearby streetlights.

The Millennium Bridge across the Thames is now more than 20 years old. An early engineering miscalculation of a 2000 year old known problem making it The Wobbly Bridge meant that the bridge closed before it had opened and dampers were retro-fitted to stop it swinging alarmingly under the footsteps of crowds synchronising . Another name is the Blade of Light; at night, lighting within the structure gives the impression of a pulse of light travelling from one side to the other.

The Bridge is one of the most popular and utilised sights in London. Its photogenic design and setting mean it has been shot from almost every angle and will never be an original photographic subject, Part of the beauty of the design is that most of the support is under the deck, leaving the pedestrians with largely unobstructed views of the City and up and down the Thames. as well as the imposing structure of Tate Modern on the south bank, a former power station.

Concealed under the deck is the pulse's light array, and being under the bridge at night that seemed the thing to try and catch alongwith some of the elegant engineering.Timing an exposure to catch the pulse proved trickier than imagined.

My only encounter with the famed Santa Fe semaphores. I'm not much of a signal foamer, but I did at least make a point to snap this photo of the lonely blades at Chapelle while we waited for Amtrak #4 to arrive.

Whyterose Yao traîne encore à Innsmouth, en tenue d'heroic-fantasy

La coiffure originelle était nettement mieux, mais je ne l'ai plus retrouvée dans mon (trop grand) inventaire.

The Blade is actually the south summit of this craggy mountain in the Kananaskis at the end of King Creek Canyon..

It started with this image

Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.
