The Blades are a full-time civilian aerobatic display team based in the UK. Made up entirely of former RAF Red Arrows pilots, The Blades are renowned worldwide for flying close formation aerobatics to the highest level within a dynamic and cutting edge air display. The Blades currently hold a world record in formation looping.

Our 'local' air display team, based at Sywell in Northants, performing at last year's Duxford Air Festival.

Thank You to Kwasoni for the impromptu collab :-)

I wasn't completely happy with the first angle, so I changed that (and the swords) trying to make the movement look more fluid and get the hair to work better.

Von der botanischen Realität vielleicht weit entfernt, nach Bildern in meinem "Kopf" gemalt.

Perhaps far removed from botanical reality, after pictures painted in my "head".

Union Pacific 8114 and 8105 pull the MRONY 21 at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon on Nov. 21, 2008. At the same time, a dump truck rushes by on US Highway 6, Utah's second most dangerous highway (after I-15), and one of the riskiest rural drives in the United States.

I am invincible, unbreakable

Unstoppable, unshakeable

They knock me down, I get up again

I am the champion

You're gonna know my name

You can't hurt me now

I can't feel the pain

I was made for this, yeah, I was born to win

I am the champion

''...Io ne ho viste cose che voi umani non potreste immaginarvi.

Navi da combattimento in fiamme al largo dei bastioni di Orione...

e ho visto i raggi B balenare nel buio vicino alle porte di Tannhäuser.

E tutti quei momenti andranno perduti nel tempo come lacrime nella pioggia.

È tempo di morire...''

This is my copper Kinetic wind spinner that is in my herb garden.

My appreciation to everyone that has awarded, commented and faved this photograph.

One from halfway up Dinorwic Quarry.

a close-up of young reed, which I took earlier this summer, meant to be a color frame but out of a sudden I felt to change it into mono.

Happy midweek to all, and stay safe and healthy!

The stretch of track near Chapelle and Bernal, New Mexico is some of the more remote and intriguing areas on the Glorieta Subdivision. Add the presence of semaphores and you have more than enough to keep the photographer happy.

Blades of a blender in low-key.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beans glitter in the darkness at the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Lately, I find it quite complicated to respond to your comments or leave a few words in your photos. The expression "We could not publish your comment" constantly appears, and as much as I try to repeat it, it ends in a failure, with "insistence and recommendation" in resorting to Flickr Pro. Apologize for it. I continue to contemplate your images with great interest.

My grandfather's stone working tool, hammer and chisel. The chisel blade is 3 cm long and the hammer is very big and heavy. This has been sitting in the basement for years and is very rusty, so my husband cleaned up the chisel blade a bit.

HMM!

Back from a weekend in Sydney. Looking toward Central Park from UTS. It has changed since the last time i was there... I now wonder if androids can dream of electric sheep.

Macro Mondays: "Sharp"

A blade from my food processor/smoothie machine. I set the tool on my red chopping board and shot with a single constant LED.

The image is about 4 cm (1.5 inches) on the long edge.
