I went to Shibuya stream.
Today I walked a little down the promenade along the Shibuya River leading to Daikanyama.
The promenade between dirty and low buildings continues.
After all, there is a little smell of sewage here.
In the dusk, there are people smoking electronic cigarettes on graffiti and sticker benches against the background of google skyscrapers.
This was also the world of blade runners.
In the spirit of Blade Runner's 30th anninersary.

CSX W240-31 is approaching Vickers in the morning sun with a unit train of windmill blades bound for Michigan. Northwood, OH 9/5/18
On shore of natural llyn padarn in Llanberis with a beautiful views across towards padarn country park.
Here is another found shot from the archives that I'd never before edited or shared.
One of the most exciting projects of 2012 that I had a big hand in during my time as Superintendent was the Alaska Railroad's support of the Eva Creek Wind Farm construction. This 24 megawatt 12 turbine Golden Valley Electric project was installed high on the hills east of Ferry, Alaska.
The amazing thing about Ferry is that it is not on the road network meaning all the components had to come in by rail, and then trucked up an old mining road reaching 10 miles into the hills that first had to be rebuilt! The towers, hubs, and nacelles all arrived in the port of Anchorage and were trucked to Healy due to clearance issues on the railroad. There they were loaded on to flat cars and shuttled 10 miles north to the offload side across the Nenana River at Ferry.
The blades, however were built in the US and took an all rail routing to the port of Seattle and then traveled by rail barge to Whittier. The blades were each just over 148 ft long and traveled in three dedicated trains consisting of 12 blades each all the way from Whittier to Ferry.
Here on the summer solstice we see one such special train accelerating north from Anchorage just past the station site of Elmendorf as seen from the Vandenberg Drive overpass near MP 118.4. This location is inside Joint Base Elemendorf-Richardson.

Hope this is sharp enough for the theme.
Diameter of the biggest saw blade is about 5cm.
Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 +12mm extension tube.
A modern sculpture of some sort (must go back and research it), works well reflecting the reflections of reflections in nearby glass facades. The triangular shadow on the opposite building fits nicely in the overall geometry. The crossing shadows on the pavement (resulting from direct and reflected sun from opposite directions) are a free bonus ;)
All in all - good unintended scene and composition.
A 75m long wind turbine blade, mounted in the Queen Victoria Square, Hull as part of the City of Culture exhibitions.
Shot to include the light trails from a passing bus. Explored.
Our zebra grass (pictured!) has taken over one of our flower beds. It dominates. It slaps all the other precious plants around and calls them mean little names. It must have a root system that penetrates the Earth's crust and derives its sustenance from the magma-flavored center of this planet-shaped lollipop.
The blades of grass are also sharp. You could kill a man with one of these. A cruel grass-stained paper cut across the carotid artery?
Spurt, spurt.
