Shots from my B.C. trip in the spring of 2022. I'll post more over the next few weeks. This was taken at Eden Grove. There must be some sort of poetic allegory here for the tiny little flower growing next to the giant tree.

There are stunning aspects of this building, especially the dome in the Rotunda. The light was perfect on our visit.

"Imagine it firing a missle. The missle flies true, arcing over a cityscape moments before it slams into the lower story of a skyscaper. The skyscraper shudders slighty, then begins to topple majestically, sowly at first, but gaining momentum as it falls. Then just moments before impact, you notice a column of enemy troops moving in the doomed building's shadow. They move frantically, but it's inevitable. Tons of steel and concrete burying them alive, all of them ended with the firing of just one shot.
Now you know what this is for."
rather breathtaking view from the top of sea-to-sky gondola ride. One of the few places where sea inlet has turquoise water typically seen in glacier lakes.

Besides some snow-capped peaks, this is the closest to winter that has been seen so far; a tiny bit of frost on some leaves first thing in the morning. Some daffodils were blooming on the grassy knoll just above these.

This past summer I went on a road trip through Northern BC and into the Yukon. Hundreds of fires were burning in the tinder dry forests. I was lucky to be out of the smoke for most of the time but occasionally the smoke blew in and visibility was quite limited, as in this photo.
