Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) very responsive to "Fee-bee-bee"! Taken from the south side of ditch along the south side of Belmont Park, Kelowna, BC.
Most non-photographers may think that BCCHs are easily captured. Not so, sadly. They tend to flit among the branches busily bugging their way through quotidian necessities. To get shots like those in this extended series, one has to have their attention. And usually, they're only willing to offer it at this time of year....

BCR X4612N, the VC or Vancouver Cariboo, train from North Vancouver, BC to Prince George, BC and points north is at Pemberton, BC on July 2, 1991. This train has single remote unit about half way back in the train and the train is mostly empty cars so this train will not be needing the helpers, shown on the left side of the photo, stationed at Pemberton on this day.
Shots from my B.C. trip in the spring of 2022. I'll post more over the next few weeks. This was taken at Eden Grove. There must be some sort of poetic allegory here for the tiny little flower growing next to the giant tree.

There are stunning aspects of this building, especially the dome in the Rotunda. The light was perfect on our visit.
Last night's sunset colors from my apartment deck. Will be away to Iceland for a 3 week trip with my daughter. Hoping to be able to post some images from there in the coming days/weeks. Thanks for your appreciation, Gail
