Presumably attached to the BBC incinerator which they use to keep the building warm by burning £10 notes from the licence fee.

The BBC were filming at a house just around the corner. I saw an actress looking rather cold - it was below freezing out there.

This was part of "Silk Screens" celebrating Chinese Culture in the UK.
I'm just so excited because I finally dug into my box of "fancy" fabrics last night and found SO many more than I thought I'd find! Not much in the way of scraps (I had some dupioni silk ones but I can't seem to find them) but there were several satins and cotton-y velvets and even a piece of vintage kimono. I can't wait to start sewing!
That's an uplink satellite dish sending the BBC's coverage back to London. And there's the little dish on the left that looks like Mr. Blobby's skin? Well, that's because this truck was used for Noel's House Party's "NTV" feature in the 90s. And they've just not taken it off.
The Blobby dish was pointing at Mendip, which is the major TV transmitter for the area.
