I'm just so excited because I finally dug into my box of "fancy" fabrics last night and found SO many more than I thought I'd find! Not much in the way of scraps (I had some dupioni silk ones but I can't seem to find them) but there were several satins and cotton-y velvets and even a piece of vintage kimono. I can't wait to start sewing!

The Blobby dish was pointing at Mendip, which is the major TV transmitter for the area.
Here it is ready to add to existing block mail... If you were in the Modern Christmas group, this is going to be coming your way... Sorry it's so close to Christmas

It was fun to cycle down and have a look this lunchtime, but there wasn't really much to see... There was a giant screen of News 24, and a little marquee with a couple of computers to find your constituency, and a noticeboard to write your views of the most important issues. I couldn't go on the bus, but I did get a picture of George Alagiah. And some yummy little pieces of BBC rock, which went down very well, back at the office.
