This is the BBC....
There were a number of these in use by various BBC local radio stations, offering education about the internet. Eventually this one became a promo unit for Radio Manchester.

This fish eye shot is of the new BBC Cymru Wales centre, located on the edge of Cardiff Bay.
It's a very unusual design and very striking, with wooden boarding on the front of the building cut out with templates of different shapes giving it a very abstract look. It's probably a Marmite type of building, but as with Marmite I really like it!

Here is my interpretation of our Asian theme in the BBC, That seam at the base of the fan is thick and clunky! I may have to take a few whacks at it with the hammer!
Do you remember when the BBC weather forecast had magnetic symbols that the forecaster added and removed from the maps? Well this is one of them. It was old when we were given it, and it has continued to degrade over the years, but it still exists. I suspect it will degrade completely within the next decade so I thought I would take some pictures now.
