I’m trying to potty train Katelyn, and it’s not going well at all!
If any of you have any tips or tricks, puhleeeze let me know!
Here’s what’s happening: she either slams the potty lid shut, throws a fit and refuses to sit on it (well, it happened once), OR she sits on it for a half an hour while we read books, then gets up and pees on the floor.
Indian Railways WDP4D 40364 thunders through Dhinda, where the facilities were best described as 'basic', providing just a small seating area beneath a canopy to either shade you from the sun or shelter you from the rain. A hand pump is provided for those who need liquid refreshment. The 16:50 Bhopal Junction to Jaipur Express was running about an hour late having completed about 750 of the 793 km. overnight journey.

Real-life basic
The white tee (and white tank and white button-front) always seem to be on must-have wardrobe lists. Personally, I find white mostly unflattering and impractical and go for black, instead. Who’s with me?
A black tee in something other than cotton (this one is 95% rayon/5% spandex) has proven to be a good office basic for me. I’d love to find a silk one at the thrift store!
Vest, Tinseltown (cut from a consignment jacket). Shirt, Active USA (thrifted). Skirt, Wevez. Shoes, Durango.
This is about the most basic origami quilt one can make. It consists of squares folded so they can be attached on the reverse side to connector pieces. I would call it a form of modular origami, even though it uses 2 types of modules instead of just 1. This was my first attempt at an origami quilt, and I used traditional paper from Japan: the connectors are made from a rich solid red paper that has a special fibrous texture, while the squares are made from the same style of paper that has printed with designs of origami cranes, temari balls, folding fans, and other items using thick, raised layers of colored ink or possibly paint.
last weekend 8 lovely ladies came to Hamburg for my Basic class and this is, what they learned! I´m really pround of them - especially as only 2 haved worked with sugarpaste before!
Thanks for looking!
New items that I am working on, basically like my printed civil war great coats but just plain fabric.
Colors so far are black, dark blue, light blay, dark blay, tan, dark tan and sand blue. Of course being fabric the colors are not a complete match but look good.
I'll have bricklink photo's up in the next couple of days and have them listed.
For my printed fabric wraps, I had to come up with a new process for treating and printing, I pretty much have it worked out and will be restocking and listing new items.
A common Centris south of the U.S. border down to Argentina with a suspicious hiatus across the Amazon that makes me wonder if there aren't 2 species. This from Costa Rica caught by Tim McMahon. Photo by Elizabeth Panner. A male, can you find the 13 antennal segments? ~~~~~~~~~~{{{{{{0}}}}}}~~~~~~~~~~

We Are Made One with What We Touch and See
We are resolved into the supreme air,
We are made one with what we touch and see,
With our heart's blood each crimson sun is fair,
With our young lives each spring impassioned tree
Flames into green, the wildest beasts that range
The moor our kinsmen are, all life is one, and all is change.

PCC Intermodal runs quite a few container and trailer trains across Poland each day. If you're on one of the many freight corridors, it's not that hard to get a train hauled by them on photo.. During my april 2024 visit to Poland I decided to spend some time between Kraków and Katowice. It wasn't one of my best trips and with my laptop and normal photo broken I had to do with the basic tools I had on my work phone. It kinda sucked, because even google maps wouldn't load decently. Luckily I knew some locations along this line from previous visits and thus I tried out this viaduct. Several freight trains passed, however I did not expect PCC out here. I got no idea on which route this train active. However, it got on photo quite well.
Here’s my two black dress Barbie Basics Lea dolls. Of course I can’t quite replicate the fine detailing of a decent Mattel doll but I’m pretty happy she looks good now.
Also trying to dress dolls from before 2016 in any modern Mattel fashions is impossible cuz of how infantile and garish they look so Phoebe is wearing a 2011 Fashionista dress instead.
