My first day out of my own yard with the new X-Terra 505. A few forum posts at metaldetectingforums.com inspired me to detect the trashy picnic area. Glad I did. First Gold of the year. 14KP men's ring.
The Basic City Lunchonette is right across the street from Norfolk Southern mainline and former N&W depot location. While I was waiting for the NS train the place filled up by 6PM. Next time I go to Waynesboro we gotta eat here. This part of Waynesboro was called Basic City until 1923.
A formative assessment we did for our Broadcast class with only using basic shapes. Animated in After Effects.

Indiana Harbor Belt SW1500 number 9209 rests at Blue Island yard in October of 1984. This is the only unit I photographed in the classy, understated NYC-inspired scheme. The orange unit to the right displays the new paint being applied to the IHB fleet at the time.
As part of the White Collar work force, the White "V-Neck" undershirt is a fashion essential. So I decided to start a line of clothes based on the undershirt idea. My prototype will be worn under dresses.
"The Basic Undershirt" Details:
This Puffy Sleeve shirt is a lovely brown and orange pinstripe on blue cotton from Porto, Portugal. It has a rounded collar. On the front is a lace accent. Not totally satisfied with the trim selection at our local craft store, I picked up a white Nylon Trim and sewed two pieces of the trim together. Then I embroidered a cream braided chain stitch to it. Final touches are 3 light pink buttons.
