Dear Friends, I am not online too much lately, working on my final exams at university. I am sorry for not visiting and commenting on YOUR beautiful photos, will be back soon.

New leaves and tiny berries on a Sapphire Berry tree (Symplocos paniculata) on this rainy first day of May. The berries, when fully ripened, will be a brilliant sapphire blue.

Years ago, people would bronze baby shoes as a way to preserve special memories - these are my mom's baby shoes... a keepsake that I dearly treasure.

HSS & wishing all moms a very Happy Mother's Day! 💐

This was hard to miss, given the commotion the babies made begging for food! If it had sat still and quiet, I probably would have overlooked it.

I found this baby Kingsnake in the pool trying to get out, swimming like crazy. Thank god I noticed it when I walked by. The flowers in the photo is from a Mexican bird of paradise plant.

This is one of the fledgling Downy Woodpeckers that is now coming to the woodpile with it's parents. It and the other fledglings that are coming around are, for now, about half the lengthen of the parent Downy Woodpeckers. Notice the red patch on it's head indicating this one is a male.

Baby Giraffe

Baby bunny in front of the small front gate building of this regional park. Each baby seemed to have its own hole to dive into under the structure.

I didn't particularly think of following yesterday's coyote post with a choice prey target, just happened to be in the same folder.

The babies are getting stronger and soon left the nest for good. The baby's are in one of my Mom's flower pots.

This shot was taken in Nopiming Provincial Park, northeastern Manitoba, at a isolated lake where pristine views of nature including the Common Loon can entertain for hours on end!

This Baby American Kestral was out flying around with Mom getting some survival lessons when she decided it was time for a rest. I am glad she did even though Mom was yelling at her.

This is my neighbor's dog. His name is Hudson. He has a talent for leaping when he runs as displayed in this image I captured him.

I was happy to see that the wild pheasants at the park have chicks again. It's not easy to take photos of them because the mother rushes them somewhere into the undergrowth as soon as someone approaches them. I hope to see them again but the park is huge and you never really know where they are.

Photographed in the wild whilst on a visit to Dinokeng Game Reserve, South Africa.

The first sighting of baby birds. I think they've been huddled in their nests over the past few days as it's been so cold.

This young sparrow looks quite well developed.

One of several baby American Alligators resting in tannin stained water at Corkscrew Sanctuary.

Baby Caiman along the river bank - - actually quite cute even though they will grow up to be something quite different.
