I shared a super chase of a B&P southbound with friends Bob Todten and Dennis Nehrenz on the same day as Super Bowl XXIII. It was topped off with this shot of the former BR&P bridge over the Allegheny River at Mosgrove, Pa. FWIW, the 49'ers beat the Bungals in one of the closer Super Bowls. January 22, 1989

B&P flare 462 leads the loaded GW1 salt train across the flats at Mt. Morris, NY on December 2, 2018. The salt mine is in the back ground. The 462 has gone to another G&W property in Georgia, but it was nice when it was on the R&S.
Camilla's, Inverness: a hinge between two days of travelling. On the first, we'd driven down from north of Lochinver, pausing for a second breakfast in Ullapool then over the long miles across the Dirrie Mor to Inverness. The next day was to be by rail back home to Mid Wales.
It was a Saturday - there were rail engineering works. Could it be done? I asked at Inverness station - they said no. I asked again at Edinburgh Waverly - they said no. But even with a rail substitute coach from Edinburgh to Carlisle, by luck and sleight of hand, we did it - all the way!

Shelf Cloud just moved over my location...
Strong Cloud to Ground Lightning was accompanying this first wave of the storms rain core pounds my location. Braved the wind hail and torrential rain that was absolutely rocking my truck to get these incredible captures!

B&O 480917 was one of 75 "canstock" boxcars built in 1975 by Berwick to supplement an earlier group of 75 built in 1972 by PS. Thus, the typical BFF style construction is among the many differences between the first group of B105s and this sub-class designated B105-A. This car was repainted at Cumberland in March of 1981. Today was a day for PT for myself. After spending yesterday in a trauma rehab center in Houston with my husband’s nephew, I know how fortunate I am. But still today brought tears amid lots of pain. So I am grateful for the ODC group giving me an incentive to keep shooting. ODC: shape and light in B&W
