Bighorn sheep, Badlands
From a family road adventure last summer. First time visiting Badlands National Park since I was a kid...and with a photographer's eye. Family fun took priority over photography on this trip, but I did manage to capture a few cool moments.

This was shot in a ghost town. It was built to be a "Las Vegas in Brianza", but it ended up being abandoned and then destroyed.

B&P flare 3063 leads RS-1 North as it crosses over the Route 20A bridge in Warsaw, NY on November 8, 2019. A light snow had blanketed the area and there was still a hint of Fall color on the trees.

Penedo do Guincho - Santa Cruz
One of the landmarks and the most unique business card from Santa Cruz Beach
Penedo do Guincho is formed by a towering rock structure that stands out
of the surrounding cliffs, 30 meters high and 100 in circumference;
having a crack at its base arched and crossed the sea. In the days of tide
low is possible to cross the opening of the rock on dry ground.
On top of its grandeur and majestic as this rock, having the same
structure that lies Riba Yellow border, perhaps the faithful vassal
sea seems to provide it, resist their separation. Increasingly away from Riba
Yellow or under the action of the sea and the weather was destroyed.

B&M 209 leads a D&H Eastbound on track 1 at the station in Corning, NY on April 1, 1984. A Conrail freight is stopped on track 2, so the D&H freight is running around it.

Chessie GP30 6934 leads RS97 solo on April 29, 1980. I'm not sure of the exact location of where I took this, but it looks like the straight track at Lime Rock, NY, between P&L Jct. and Leroy. The normal power for RS97 derailed at Lincoln Park, so one of the units used for working Brooks Yard was taken and used to get the train out.
