In the earliest moments of daylight, BB 27153 (leased by Lineas) is hauling this container working from Perpignan-Faisceau Roussillon to Antwerpen-Combinant (B) along the northern end of the Étang de Salses et de Leucate, approaching the halt of Leucate-La Franqui, 05-09-2025.

March Air Field Museum.

Led by former B&O GP30 #6936, now a road slug, D743 rolls north past the iconic B&O bracket post and dwarf signals at the south end of Ottawa siding heading for Pro-Tec Steel in Leipsic. This was the second GP30 slug I had seen in as many days, a welcome development in my eyes. Hard not to love the unique look of these engines.

I shared a super chase of a B&P southbound with friends Bob Todten and Dennis Nehrenz on the same day as Super Bowl XXIII. It was topped off with this shot of the former BR&P bridge over the Allegheny River at Mosgrove, Pa. FWIW, the 49'ers beat the Bungals in one of the closer Super Bowls. January 22, 1989
