Some friends wanted to do a mock Christmas card and I volunteered to photograph it. It only took us about a half hour to setup, tear-down, and get a handful of appropriately disturbing photos.

 

Lighting Info: One Vivitar 285HV flash with 1/4 CTO gel in an umbrella high camera right. Slow shutter speed (1/8") to burn in the lights from the tree.

I have known these girls since high school. We have moved to different cities and states, but in the end we still remain. I love these girls and the relationships we have acquired in the past several years. I thank God for the friendship we have.

These are suppose to be salt and pepper shakers. You can get them at any souvenir store. These were in the airport store. It's completely funny, but one of my first thoughts was how inappropriate this was to have on the dinner table. Then, I remembered one of my European friends always calling me a prude American. It's just a good personal example of how different we consider "inappropriate" things in public across cultures.
