While inside the jeepney, this "barker" (man who calls for passengers to ride the jeepney) seems like to offer his ice popsicle to a man who wants to ride the jeep.
Hmm, sorry about that Michelle :)

Part 2 in the series. What little moments in life do you find the most awkward?
I'm also working on getting my blog up and running. slightlyawkwardteenagedanceparty.wordpress.com
Added an archive for all comics from 2009, about page, made a header image that Eric hates, and played around with a new theme.
I signed up for a free Wordpress.com blog site, so I am a little bit limited in what I can do. For starters, I need to order a paid upgrade just to edit CSS. Gak. I also don't believe there's a way to automatically add a Digg button to each post, I have to do that manually. Double Gak!
In summation, it's a bit kludgy for now, but I plan to keep at it, and maybe once I get the basics working, I can transfer the site over to an actual web host. That would allow me more flexibility with layout, tweak the navigation so it's easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy to look through all my old comics, etc.
In the meantime, check it out! Subscribe, rate, comment, all that fun stuff!

I recieved my first two Taeyangs today (Will and Sage) and Williams arm gave me a tough first ten minutes. Luckily, I fixed it. my golly, he's so smexy!!!!
We stayed the night at the Golden Gate in the old part of Vegas. Fantastic hotel and casino, except that at 9 p.m. the regular dealers were replaced by go-go dancers. Charlie didn't seem to mind, but he sure spent a lot more on tips!
My new lavender secretary dress from Young Lady Vintage in Philly! I highly recommend them to anyone interested in fine vintage clothing. The package (which had been shipped expeditiously) included a sweet, hand-written letter AND a hand-made button of a pie! Woo-hoo! And the prices ain't bad neither.
Linkage, yeah:
So, I was tipsy at this point and decided to go all touristy and visited this tourist trap of an ice bar. This was taken while the bartender was at the bathroom and frankly, this was probably the most awkward drink of my life. It was just me and the bartender in the very small bar and of course, I was drinking some dumb froofy vodka drink. I'm trying to drink it as quick as possible and he's probably wanting me to drink it as quick as possible so that we don't have to keep making random small talk.
Hilariously enough, the ice bar was located behind a Spanish restaurant. By "behind", I mean that you had to go through the Spanish restaurant to get here. You couldn't make this shit up even if you wanted to.
I'm ordering my footsie footsie polish dog from Susie's here. The girl behind me kept trying to cut so I just kepting getting closer to the window and she just kept getting closer to me. Sorta creeped me out, I usually don't get creepd out by girls. She took her headphones off in defeat and straight up revealed her corney-ass-lesbo-power 80s rock. Everyone noticed her little embarassing moment including herself; chuckle here and there from Dave, Mark, & Hip; sitting at the table right behind us.
37/366 - I feel like I'm moving in every time I go to school/work (I am a teacher), especially on Mondays. Count them - that is 5 bags and a fountain soda. Missing is the computer bag and the lunch box today. I usually have some configuration of all these with me on any given morning. I feel like a fumbling idiot when I get to my door and have to drop all the bags in order to riffle through ALL of them until I find the one I put my keys in. Sometimes I search through all of them and then remember that I put the keys in my coat pocket so I could find them easier. It is slightly embarrassing, especially when I'm late and the kids are lining up around me in the hall waiting for me to open the door so they can take their seats.
Just in case you're curious - zebra bag: clothes to change into for when I teach dance class; bag against lockers: teacher bag with papers to grade, worksheets to revise, etc; bag tucked in the middle: my biiiig purse, which I love, but causes some of it's own awkwardness; BATC bag: cheerleading judging stuff; bag on outside: homemade camera bag - I don't leave home without it nowadays.
