On service along the oceanfront, the surf was perfect. Part of my series to show I have a life beyond flickr, not much of a life, but I do get out regularly.

I was so dark I could barely see through the view finder, though I make good use of Live view on occasions like this.

I was sitting at my computer on a Saturday when I saw a bird fly into the window downstairs. I hurried down to see if it was ok, but unfortunately it had broken its neck. It was still warm and I felt so sorry for it.

I held him in my hand for a little bit hoping he was only stunned.

Isn't he pretty, though?
