Part of our nightly routine is reading books. I picked up a handful of these board books to keep in the Kiddo's room because he is in a "tearing pages phase" of life and cannot be trusted with real books. Turns out, these are exactly what he needed anyway, since we are still working on getting up to speed on our speech. Also: Fox in socks, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mr. Brown Can Moo, Peekaboo Who, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Go Dog Go, and Hand Hand Fingers Thumb (for anyone looking for great speech aids in the way of preschool appropriate reading).

When she arrived in Northampton she was presented with a bespoke pair of riding boots made by a local manufacturer - size 72! Unfortunately she was wearing a long skirt, which meant that we could only see a small part of them.
After receiving the boots on the Market Square she made her way around the town centre preceded by a motley crew made up of the Mayor,and some Councillors, corset wearing Morris Dancers, Belly Dancers, the 'Ministry of Cycles', and 'Wicker Maidens' - who I assume were the yong ladies bearing flowers.

Like this lily bud trying to open ,,,I too after 57 years I am beginning to live my dream ..I decided I do not have to wait more then 15 minutes after the hour of an given appointment ..i do not have to except the norm if i am paying for something..I can play with the camera and not follow any rules made by another .I can paint with a brush or with my fingers...i can drive on wrong side of road when no one else is around to harm,,,,,,I can tear the tags off any thing I pay for ,,,,,,I can .I will bloom

Part 1 of a photoshoot with rock band Awake The Empire. There wasn't enough time in the day for a photoshoot and band practice so we've had to re-schedule a second part in this shoot for next week in which I hope to achieve a lot more with them.

This would be in what is now 1 Pace Plaza in downtown Manhattan; the Tribune building, which is where one Pace Plaza now stands, is visible to the left. The New York Times is across the street in the upper center of the photo.
The source gives no date or artist. As a poster shows Hamlin as Lincoln's running mate, this would have been prior to the 1860 election. There was a large march and rally of Wide-Awakes on October 3, 1860, and this may be an image of that march. See gathkinsons.net/sesqui/?p=1020.
