First light over Longships.

Dawn breaks over Longships lighthouse.

Samuel Wyatt was the designer of the original tower which was built in the 1790's however in the frequent high seas around Lands End, the lantern was often obscured by seawater and so the lighthouse was replaced with the current grey granite tower by Sir James Douglass in 1875. I'm not sure if he was familiar with the Rockhopper penguin but his design bears an uncanny resemblance!

So your musical offering this evening is something a little different and one of the finest choral works by J S Bach. So sit back and enjoy all 27.04 minutes, or alternatively just go and watch 'Bake off'!

Marnie woke up with a jump. She hadn't meant to fall asleep, she'd been reading and had obviously drifted off. What had woken her up? She had a half memory of hearing a bang. She untucked her self from the blanket she kept on the back of her sofa and got up. Rubbing her eyes she walked over to the little magic door that separated her flat from the magical bedroom space Tilly had crafted with the help of their good friend, Willow. She opened it and peered in "Hi Marnie, I'm playing with my toys, I used a spell to make the unicorn get really really big but then I sneezed and it shrank again, can we have Ice cream for dinner?!" Marniesmiled "Slow down little fairy, did you make a big bang just now?" "uhmmm no, I sneezed but it sounded like an aaaaaatishooooo, not a bang!" replied Tilly.

Marnie went to get up when she heard it again, it sounded like someone was banging in the hallway. She got up and walked back across the room, she heard a man shouting for Ever, "That'll never work, she won't hear him from London" thought Marnie. She opened her front door.
