die Emscher... in Oberhausen
Die meisten Menschen im Ruhrgebiet verbinden mit der Emscher Begriffe wie „stinkende Kloake“ oder „Abwasserkanals des Ruhrgebiets“. Die wenigsten wissen, dass die Emscher ein natürlicher Fluss ist. Sie entspringt in der Nähe von Dortmund. Auf einer Länge von circa 83 Kilometern fließt sie durch diverse Ruhrgebietsstädte. Nach der Unterquerung des Rhein-Herne Kanals in Castrop-Rauxel fließt sie bis Oberhausen parallel zum Kanal weiter. (Zeus-Reporter Jan Wirths)

The beach at Goring-by-Sea your classic West Sussex beach; a long stretch of pebbles and shingle separated by wooden groynes mark the high tide mark. Beyond this is an expanse of flat sand.

Beautiful and truly unique, The Bandstand is located on Brighton's vibrant seafront. The Bandstand first opened in 1884. It was restored to its original specification and reopened in 2009.
Yesterday's shot was only the top portion of the falls. This is in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, near Cleveland, Ohio.
these wild berries are on a tree that grows on a hill near my home ....
l think they might be rowan berries , but l'm not sure....

Yesterday evening...I watched from the front yard as the waxing gibbous moon rose above the trees ....& ...as the blue of twilight deepened ...the gleaming pinpoint of Jupiter became visible . The 2 heavenly bodies seemed to keep each other company as they rose ...side by side ...in the Eastern sky .
