Autism Awareness ... Support your local school for autistic children! Our school for autistic children in Ocala, Florida is New Horizon Academy. What a GREAT JOB the teachers and staff do for the children!
Overwhelmingly the majority of young people who took part in the consultation spoke of the importance of family support and home life. Here are a few responses:

“I feel happiest and safer at home.”
“I am about to move house.”
Another example, “My sister, my mum and my dad have helped me to control my emotions.”
“I am adopted and my mum was too young and didn’t know how to look after me”.
“I have got 5 siblings who are all autistic, I
understand them and they all understand me.”
“My dad was autistic, I plan to go to college, I am nervous about making new friends and going somewhere different.”
And finally, “My family doesn’t get enough support, there are different types of autism, but all families with autism need special support.”
Pace's Ongoing Academic and Social Instructional Support (OASIS) hosted an event on April 17, 2018 which featured voices of students on the spectrum as they discuss steps toward gaining independence. It was facilitated by our very own graduate and full-time academic coach Zachary O'Neal.
The Ongoing Academic and Social Instructional Support (OASIS) program at Pace University offers one of the most comprehensive college support programs for students with learning differences. The program welcomes all qualified students with learning differences who would like to fulfill their dream of a college education. Three Autism Causes to Understand
Do you know that the number of baby who is born with autism is progressively increasing every day and on? Well, surely you have known about it, but have you ever been wondering about the autism causes?

I am amazed that the cost of autism over the lifespan is 3.2 million dollars per person. Of that 3.2 million dollars, sixty percent is in adult services.
Autism Awareness is highlighted in April as the National Autism Awareness Month. There are several events that are held to raise money for Autism Speaks.
Today I got my autism training business started with this training session. The reason the room is dissaranged is that at the start of the training I create the sensory experience and difficulty making sense of these experiences that autistic people do; so I set the room up in a way people would find incomprehensible. Then they would have to begin making sense of a fractured view of what was happening. to further the overload and incomprehension I just began running a bicycle maintenance workshop and expected them to know what I was on about.
From all this I drew the first lesson about the world of autistic people and our fractured view of situations adn the amount of calculating and comprehending we have to do most of the time, just to make sense of thngs.
