Inisheer Island (Inis Oírr), Aran Islands, County Galway, Ireland

This stunning ship named the “Plassey” was a steam trawler built in the late 1940s. Unfortunately on the 8th March 1960, while sailing through Galway Bay carrying a cargo of whiskey, stained glass and yarn, she was caught in a severe storm and ran onto Finnis Rock on Inisheer Island. A group of local Islanders rescued the entire crew from the stricken vessel using a breeches buoy. Several weeks later a second storm washed the ship off the rock and drove her ashore on the island.

This wreck still lies on the shoreline and has become a local tourist attraction. She is also featured in the opening credits of the television series "Father Ted" as Inisheer is actually “Craggy Island” from which the series is based on

Italianate architecture knew no class boundaries. The high square towers made the style a natural choice for upscale homes of the newly rich. However the brackets and other architecture details, made affordable by new methods for machine production, were easily applied to simple cottages.

The International Car Forest in Goldfield, NV is one of those unique Nevada Roadside Attractions for anyone seeking the odd and obscure. Over 40 painted cars, trucks, and vans have been balanced delicately on their ends or stacked on top one of another, looking like a group of toys some giant child simply left lying around.

When I first looked at these spots lighting up Parc Bourgeault soccer field, all I saw was annoying bugs attracted by the intense light. I saw no purpose of pointing my camera at this until I realized the motion of the thousands twirling insects could be interesting to look at....

It is a former estate garden featuring annuals, roses and wildflowers and an extensive rockery. It is located on Wilket Creek, one of the tributaries of the Don River West Branch. The estate's title was once held by Alexander Milne, a Scottish weaver who settled here after the War of 1812 and left in 1832. 477

One of the many owls dotted around Bath last year. This one is painted with colourful swirls reminiscent of the Zulu telephone wire woven bowls popular in South Africa.

The Bakers Oven is a spectacular natural attraction located along the famed Great Ocean Road in Port Campbell, Victoria, Australia. This stunning site features dramatic coastal cliffs and unique rock formations that provide a breathtaking backdrop for visitors.

The namesake may also due to the oven-like hole in the island and a small rock, shaped like a loaf of bread that once sat on the ledge - according to Rodney Hyett.

This image was taken on a summer afternoon, the sky was adorned with an interesting wavy cloud formation. In the overcast light, the island looked like a gigantic, luminous precious stone. This was taken during one of the occasional calm moments. Beyond the horizon is Bass Strait.

The Main Tourist Attraction at the Public Plaza of Denpasar

The chocolate vine is in flower again this year, and poor little bee got caught by the female flower and just couldn't get away from those sticky stamens! I intervened when it became exhausted from trying and managed to set it free to chose the safer smaller male flowers to visit! HBBBT hope it's a good day for you all.
