Irlanda - Enniskerry - Jardines Powerscourt
ENGLISH:
Powerscourt Estate, located in Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Ireland, is a large country estate which is noted for its house and landscaped gardens, today occupying 19 hectares (47 acres). The house, originally a 13th-century castle, was extensively altered during the 18th century by German architect Richard Cassels, starting in 1731 and finishing in 1741. A fire in 1974 left the house lying as a shell until it was renovated in 1996.
Originally the family seat of the Viscounts Powerscourt, the estate has been owned by the Slazenger family, founders and former owners of the Slazenger sporting goods business, since 1961. It is a popular tourist attraction, and includes Powerscourt Golf Club, an Avoca Handweavers restaurant, and an Autograph Collection Hotel.

Such a beautiful sight to come across. Just eye pleasing to see a "Contrasting Attraction"
like this. There's a feel to a subject that leaves you knowing you want to work with this, and this has it.

One of the popular attractions at Disney is Expedition Everest rollercoaster. It was overcast but very appealing for photographers. Clouds can bring that dramatic look.
I decided to put those three big attractions together in one photo. My adorable Sigma 10-20mm made it possible, not as sharp as my Canon L lenses but gives you a whole new dimension. It´s amazingly wide.

I am not quite sure where the photo of this statue that is the base of the image was taken. I do know that I liked it a lot.
Photoleap Cloud Wanderer was used to change the topography and add creatures to the image.

New research from the University of Washington indicates that the setting of children for sweets have a biological explanation. Apparently, the desire for sugar is related to the accelerated growth rate of this phase of life.
"The relationship between sweet and growth makes sense. When growth is fast, the body's caloric demand increases. Children are biologically compelled to like sweets because they fill a nutritional need, which causes them to seek energy sources, " explains one of Study author, Danielle Reed.

Equus Altus (High Horse) by Andy Scott, 2013. Sculpture in the Trinity Centre, Leeds. He is the artist also responsible for the Kelpies in Falkirk.
4.5m high, it weighs two tonnes and stands on a steel column 10m high. Made from galvanised mild steel. Andy Scott spent ten months hand-welding small rectangles into this Cleveland Packhorse. This creates a shimmering effect. It references the wool and textile industries at the core of the Leeds industrial heritage because pack horses were used to transport cloth and other goods.
This attractive lady caught my eye crossing a road in Leeds city centre. She was stunning, I did not have time to compose the shot. I just took one photo and I am very pleased with this candid result.

A geologic curiosity at the end of Desert Road near Freeport, the Desert of Maine is a result of the Laurentide Ice Sheet of the Ice Age that was exposed around 1821 due to erosion of topsoil and overgrazing. Today, nature has begun the slow process of re-conquering the dunes with the encroaching growth of the fragrant forest that surrounds this attraction. Freeport, Maine, USA.
Freeport, Maine, Estados Unidos.

Sorry about the inactivity posting photos. I’m still trying to settle in here in California, so photo editing has taken a backseat. That said, I’ve been regularly heading to the Disneyland Resort at least once a week for the past 3 months (has it really been 3 months?!) since moving to Orange County taking a ton of photographs.
Anyway, tonight’s shot comes from the brand Spankin’ new Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters in Carsland! It just opened this past Monday. I had the chance to ride this twice tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it with a smile on my face each time! Luigi’s cousins from Carsoli have come to Radiator Springs to Sing and Dance! At the end, they spin fairly quickly here creating these light trails with this long exposure.
