Thank you all for commenting and favouring my images it is very much appreciated.
’ve waited nine years for this moment…
For reasons unknown to us, Nex and Stringer would never see another release after 2012, despite two full waves of sets they could easily have been integrated into. With Bulk growing increasingly orange and Stringer’s lack of unified color scheme, my belief is that Nex and Stringer underperformed in BREAKOUT as the two cheaper sets of the second wave and were cut from the lineup for the remainder of Hero Factory’s run.
Until today…
With a helmet commissioned from @galva_nize_ I present BRAIN ATTACK Stringer. He is of the same height class as Stormer and Surge and is equipped with a Hero Sword. He also has a scanning apparatus affixed to his arm for performing sonar sweeps and picking up thermal signatures. I went for a more hefty build as Stringer deserves the extra muscle. I have also tried to combine his blue BREAKOUT color scheme and his orange 1.0 colors to create something that honors both.
I have taken great lengths to keep the design language of the other BRAIN ATTACK sets:
- Melee weapons
- Silver or Gunmetal secondary color
- Transparent armor piece
- Hero Core Clamp and Visor
This build uses a shoulder configuration first used by Beardly_Designs. I don’t think anything else draws inspiration from other MOCs but, if you feel it does, let me know!
Building this MOC is honestly a dream come true for me. I’m glad I can finally give Stringer the form he deserves.
Adults attacking me while I was photographind the chicks and these adults themsrlves.
After much dive-bombing and squawking, they accepted me and left me alone.
I've decided to put together a book with all my weird bird images so expect to see more of these. I've also got 3 books that will be for sale on Blurb as soon as I give up on making changes to them.

Savanah has been doing this a lot lately. She thinks it is hysterical. The more I tell her to back off so I can focus the more she laughs. She is so my daughter! LOL
I managed to snap this shot off while trying to defend myself with a water hose from an attack by a vicious dog... JK... this is our dog, Lindy. She goes nuts over the water hose! It's one of her favorite outdoor activities.
I was disappointed with this shot at first since I got the water as the focal point and not the dog. However, everyone who has seen it since says it adds to the effect of the shot.
Check her out in non-attack mode.

The Verbal Attack.
Face to face loud outcries, whirlwind of a thousand devastated groans,
surging insolent verbs, crushing thy sheltered boundaries of straits,
schowtens are swallowed in thee midst of thous tremendous escorted coasts,
scattered prides, disasters are thy furnished rewards,
too læt to call upon even Tolumnius to fight at thy side,
troubled oppressions are innumerable ordained,in thy residence of slumbering rage,
indignation disturbs thous venturing minds to a unctuous flame bearth,
threats engorge thy branches to a death sap partaking to thy blásphēmos dreg,
rise up from thy pit of oppugnare to thy place of rejoicing awe,
trust thy righteous judgments of enlightened rewards for all,
praising heaven mercy endures, congregations are one,
dignity in thy assembly, a hymn is pleased,
established thy prosperity in thy humble ones on knees that are pleading for redemption's salvation's praise!
Thy verbal attacks continue on none the less, deceitful ashes thrown on thy coals,
till our numbered days end,all of us sheep shall climb to exalt on thy highest of mounts,
all thy saints continue to teach,to ears that can't,no refuse to hear.

Second picture of the series Mammatus Attack (Vertical View).
Traveling by car to the countryside, I saw that were forming these unique clouds.
The time I threw up as it was getting dark and these phenomena may last a few minutes.
So taking advantage that I carried into the boot of my car the camera equipment and the newly acquired Samyang 14mm 2.8, I stopped at the first open field I found and capture the moment.
The form acquired the cloud seems like a big monster opened his mouth threatening the existence of our planet.
At first, I thought not to post this picture, because it is not a photograph thought and prepared, and the foreground is a bit apocalyptic, but because of the curious and interesting shape of the clouds, I decided to publish it.

Deinodryinus atriventris wasp attacking a leafhopper nymph of the Genus Gyponana.
Wasp Size: ~5mm
As I watched this small wasp hop from plant-to-plant through my camera's viewfinder, I managed to capture many frames of her discovering and parasitizing this surprised leafhopper nymph! When their encounter was over, the wasp simply walked away, leaving the stunned but alive hopper to be slowly consumed by the wasp's offspring.
Photographed handheld with a Canon Rebel XTi (400D) and Canon 100mm macro lens.
We also visited the World Wetland Trust on Saturday which is across the road from Swanbourne Lake. This red breasted goose took umbrage to me being on his path and decided to let me know by 'attacking' my boots.

Taken through the kitchen window. Spotted this gull taking on a crow. OK, the 'crow' is a metal cut-out that I recently fixed to the top of the garden shed. The Gull is one of a group of locals that rule the roost in the neighbourhood, seeing off anything they don't like. Had several attempts then gave up, defeated.
In several places in Persepolis depictions of a lion attacking a bull occur. This is a very ancient motif, predating the 5th C BC founding of Persepolis. The lion is seen in Persepolis as the symbol of absolute power and heroic triumph. The bull is also a symbol of power in ancient Persia and is seen throughout Persepolis on top of columns and guarding gates. The exact meaning of this symbolism has been lost in time and has generated much debate. The symbol occurs at four places on the Apadana staircase to the Great Palace of Darius the Great. The marvellous bas reliefs on the monumental staircases leading to the Apadana Palace fortunately survived the pillaging and burning of the site when Alexander the Great conquered it in 330 BC.

The A-3B Skywarrior, seen on the left, entered service in the fifties as a nuclear carrier-based bomber, operated by so-called heavy attack squadrons. By the early sixties, its survivability was in doubt, as new Soviet air defences were developed. It was to replaced by a new supersonic bomber, the A-5 Vigilante. When the nuclear roll was transferred to submarine-launched ballistic missiles, these jets were re-rolled as reconnaissance aircraft, known as the RA-5C, seen on the right. Both were some of the largest aircraft to serve on carriers.
The composition of air wings changes over time, but even as new aircraft are introduced, some squadron remain part of the same air wing for many years. Heavy attack units, however, tended to change wings on a regular basis. The heavy attack squadron that was part of Carrier Air Wing 8 aboard USS Forrestal in 1965, flying the A-3 represented by my model, was VAH-6 Fleurs. By coincidence, in 1978, now aboard USS Nimitz, Carrier Air Wing 8 had the same squadron assigned, now renamed RVAH-6 and flying Vigilantes including the one represented by my model.
