The Centennial Hall (German: Jahrhunderthalle, Polish: Hala Stulecia (formerly Hala Ludowa - People's Hall)) is a historic building in Wrocław, Poland. It was constructed according to the plans of architect Max Berg in 1911–1913, when the city was part of the German Empire. As an early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.
River City 2 apartment complex, South Loop, Chicago.
Architect: Bertrand Goldberg
Completed: River City I (proposal only) - 1972, River City II (built) - 1986
The built proposal reflects an horizontally-unfolded version of the initial scheme which called for 3 linked 72-story towers. River City II reflects a desire to develop the "city-within-a city" mix-use typology.
It's not often that you find this part of the Renaissance Center almost completely empty. For those wondering; No, I did not edit the people out.
This is the view toward Canada from the upper level of the rear atrium. I think adding this was the best change GM made when they purchased the building.
Closed for 29 years, and completely abandoned for the past ten, hotel Monte Palace in São Miguel island (Azores, Portugal) is set to reopen as a newly revamped hotel in 2021. Located on one of the most famous viewpoints on the island (Vista do Rei), that overlooks the blue and green lagoons of Sete Cidades, Monte Palace was the first five-star hotel in the Azores and was considered Best Hotel of the Year in Portugal in 1990.

Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum - the humanities part of the library of Humboldt university, opened on October 12th, 2009. Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 1/3, 10117 Berlin/Germany, district of Mitte (Dorotheenstadt).

The Angel Building, London, England
Hope you had a great Weekend and didn't work too hard :-).
Going back through my London Open House images from last year. I know I have uploaded a similar one in B&W but I felt doing it in this processing worked alot better than in B&W.
This building is amazing especially with its sculpture called Out of the Strong Came Forth Sweetness by Ian McChesney just at the top of this image. This is also a building that proves you can recycle old buildings into new, modern work spaces as this use to be a drab 80s office building before it was revitalised.
I am going out with my camera tomorrow as I have a few ideas for new material which I hope you all will enjoy.
Anyway that is all for now, have a great day all! :-)

Information
Angel Building is the reinvention of an early 1980s commercial block on a prominent but under-used site at the corner of St. John Street and Pentonville Road in Islington. It now contains 260,000 square feet of high specification office space, with café, specially-commissioned works of art and large rooftop terraces affording spectacular views over London. The existing concrete frame has been reused and re-wrapped with a highly energy-efficient glazed skin. The building’s envelope has been extended at selective points to create a better fit with the context formed by the surrounding streets.
