This atrium in the Jin Mao Tower starts at the 53rd floor and extends up to the 87th floor. It has a clear height of 152 meters and a diameter of 27 meters, making it one of the tallest atriums in the world. Around the edge are 555 five-star hotel rooms. Standing at either the top or bottom of this chamber is very impressive. From the outside it doesn't look like it would fit inside the building, especially at the top.
When I took this picture, I thought that I was in a movie. There was a live concert in the lounge at the bottom filling the hall with Chinese Classical-Jazz Fusion.
