The remains of a World War Two Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery built in 1942 near to Manor Farm, consisting of four Gun Emplacements and associated temporary huts and operational buildings. The remains of the Gun Battery are set out in a semi-circle to the east of the building approximately 88ft apart, to the north is a small track linking it to the road. The Anti-Aircraft Battery was armed with four 3.7 inch Static Guns (probably Vickers QF 3.7inch Anti-Aircraft Guns) which were guided by GL Mark II Radar System, in 1942 the Battery was manned by 332 Battery of the 106th Royal Artillery Regiment, and was retained as an Off-Site Nucleus Force Battery in 1946. The site nowadays is quite overgrown, the Magazines are slowly deteriorating and the Crew Rooms are flooded with parts of the shuttering breaking away, it is used for agricultural purposes, storage of scrap, manure and general junk, and sits on private land.
