Civilian Winter Flying Suit
This flying suit was worn by Clarence "Dutch" Shankle during the 1920s-1930s. This one-piece leather flying suit was made by Air Associates Inc. for cold weather flying. They continued making this flight suit through World War II.

Orion Associates is a management company specializing in social services support for nonprofit and for-profit, related and external entities. Orion has grown and diversified over the last decade building national constituencies with its financial management services, and Headwaters Relief Organization, its nonprofit disaster relief organization.
Headwaters Relief Organization provides mental health support, community outreach and education, and cleanup and re-building to those who have experienced a natural disaster. Headwaters has provided the company’s employees and community partners with extraordinary opportunities to volunteer and serve in response to natural disasters in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, Louisiana, and most recently, in Haiti and New Jersey. Since 2005, Orion has inspired more than 1,000 people, both employees and community members, to join them in their volunteer efforts.

-The National Park Service preserves over 200 acres of the original property, including historic buildings, original furnishings, manicured landscapes, natural woodlands, formal gardens and associated documents. The centerpiece of the estate is the mansion, a masterpiece of American Beaux-Arts design by the distinguished architectural firm McKim, Mead and White.

This was during a tour to an architect's office- none other than Fumihiko Maki. I was disappointed Maki wasn't in the office, but these presentation models were amazing!
