Women participants in the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Eleventh Assembly, 20-27 July 2010, in Stuttgart, Germany, gather on 21 July to discuss possible actions at the assembly and women's leadership in the LWF communion in general.

Global Assembly: an annual gathering to build cohesion and a common strategy for a diverse network
The Global Assembly helps bring cohesion to a diverse network and to formulate shared strategic points of focus for Initiatives of Change. One of the main tasks of the Global Assembly is to elect the President and members of the International Council. Other tasks include approving the annual report and accounts and the budget for the next year.

Governor Kay Ivey was keynote speaker at Prattville Christian Academy's National Blue Ribbon Assembly Wednesday March 11, 2020 in Prattville, Ala. Prattville Christian Academy was named a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School by Betsy DeVos, U.S. Secretary of Education. Of the 362 schools recognized throughout the country and only 50 non-public schools, PCA is recognized as one of the highest performing schools as measured by elementary and middle school standardized test scores, and among the top 15 percent of schools in the nation.
