Formerly Michigan Truck Plant, building Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators, truck production moved to Louisville, Kentucky to make room for the new C346 Ford Focus. Ford will build several vehicles based on the Focus platform at this plant and the adjacent Wayne Assembly and Stamping Plant.

The chamber in which some of America's most revered figures met, debated, and argued while creating the two most important documents in America's history. The chair at the front is the original chair where George Washington sat. It is the half-sun carved into head of the chair which prompted the famous quote by then 81 year old Benjamin Franklin:
I have often looked at that behind the president without being able to tell whether it was rising or setting. But now I... know that it is a rising...sun.
One of the most, if not the most historically significant structure in the United States, the old Pennsylvania State House became the birthplace of American independence in 1776. The main complex, built in 1753, became the meeting place for the Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention--the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution were both drafted and signed here. The building is now part of the National Park Service and has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

This was one of my most rushed photographs from Paris. It was close to midnight and I was raring to rush back to my hotel when the lights of this monument caught my attention.....
Originally known as "Palais Bourbon", and built during the 18th Century, for the Duchess of Bourbon, this impressive monument is now the house to the French Assembly.
Situated in the posh Place de la Concorde, it is one of the most photographed national monuments of Paris.
At night, this building lights up with the colors of the French Flag.
Modeled after the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C., the first Solar Decathlon Europe took place in Madrid, Spain, in June 2010. Construction activities shifted to fine tuning details of the solar-powered houses during day 5 of the assembly period. Decks were fabricated, landscapes planted, water supplies installed, and PV systems integrated onto the roofs throughout the day on Friday, June 11.
