The Campaign for a Scottish Assembly was a cross non-party pressure group launched in 1980 by politicians, academics and activists after the defeat of the 1979 devolution referendum. The Campaign for a Scottish Assembly was subsequently renamed the Campaign for a Scottish Parliament.
The Scottish Political Archive is housed at the University of Stirling. The archive is home to the oral interviews, personal papers and associated material from prominent Scottish politicians. Kindergarten students participated at an assembly hosted by Dr. Brenner to learn the importance of good dental care.
These Images were taken during the pit lane walk after the Tuesday testing day at Silverstone,July 2016. It was a change to be able to get this close to some of the cars and the drivers. It was the first time we had attended a pit lane walk and I was surprised at just how close you can get to the cars and some of the drivers who were happy enough to hang around and sign an autograph or two. Though not every team was so accommodating,namely Renault and Ferrari who blocked off thee front of their garage with screens so you couldn't even get a look inside.

Looking down into the assembly, you can see Spot #2 on this piece of glass. My guess is that the two pieces of glass are rubbing together.
Assembly instruction card from bottom of early 1960's Paul McCobb 1510-6 dresser. Planner Group furniture from this late period has almost always lost it's identifying label so it was a true pleasure to find this tag still attached to the bottom of the dresser I just acquired.

My 2004 40th Anniversary Mustang at Michigan Assembly Plant. This car was built at the Rouge Plant, a few miles east down Michigan Avenue, and down Miller Road. One of the last old Rouge Plant cars, just hit 13k miles.
I have been waiting for a Yellow Blaze Focus to show up on the display. Just a week ago, my parents had their 2012 Yellow Blaze Focus out there with the car on display...a white car.
In 1995, I shot photos of my Ultra Violet Escort GT along with another Ultra Violet Escort GT in front of Wayne Assembly Plant (only 816 built in 1995!). I was hoping to do the same with their car.
When I retire my two SVT Contours, I will be likely driving a yellow Focus ST, built at this same plant.

WIPO Director General Daren Tang delivers remarks at the launch of the “A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of China-WIPO Cooperation” exhibition and cultural event, co-organized by WIPO and the Government of China.
Held on the sidelines of the Assemblies of WIPO Member States, the exhibition celebrated fifty years of cooperation between China and WIPO, showcasing the country's history of innovation and creativity, along with special performances of traditional Chinese folk songs and opera.
The Assemblies of WIPO Member States took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 6-14, 2023.

To help me prove it was accurate, I pressed the bit down onto the cube, making a tiny dent mark, then turned the cube 90º and did it again. I made adjustments to the square position until the marks created a tiny X. Good enough for me - it's not like the cubes are all that accurate anyway. I almost feel that their inaccuracy freed me up from thinking too precisely while building, which helped speed me along.
If you view this at larger sizes, you might notice the piece of paper I slipped under the square to add a light layer of protection and grip between the press table and square - not to mention the acrylic cubes - has PI wrapping out to some n digits. It's from a page of the first 1M digits, and this is 1 of about 22 pages - I didn't print past the first page. I just wanted to see this much at this certain font setting. None of this relates to the project, it's just extraneous info for those into that sort of thing.

I had 3 dumplings in various states of completion since I made a big batch of these little guys (from this pattern) for a craft fair in December. As I was making another one for the Strawberry Dumpling swap, it seemed only efficient to finish up the other 3. I love to (at least occasionally) finish things!
Held on an evening after classes have ended, Senior Assembly is a traditional ceremony in which the Amherst College faculty honors the graduating students. After a procession into Johnson Chapel, the Dean of the Faculty opens the ceremony, and the President awards prizes and honorary class memberships. Two students and a faculty member address the graduating class, and the ceremony ends with a recessional. Photo by Jiayi Liu
