Today, as I was taking down the last remnants of winter decorations, I realized how many places our seashell collections reside in this house! This remains on our front door all year long!
Friend, Erna, painted this from one of my first flickr contributions, of a Bristlecone Pine in the White Mountains of California. In exchange, I photographed, assembled, arranged, and published a blurb book of all her work.

We visited friend who arranged a very nice party nearby. The day after I walked around in the surroundings I found this lovely view.
Hovs church's chapel is located in the town of Hov in Båstad municipality. It is a parish church in Västra Karup-Hov's church in Lund's peninsula.
Adjacent to the church is an eatery with stonework and bautastones, which shows that Hov was already a place for god worship in the early days.

Eva: Dave, you know how you guys are planning a family vacation to London?
Dave: Yup. Been arranging things for months now.
Eva: Well, you should bring me with you.
Dave: It's a really long flight and I am unsure what their canine quarantine rules are.
Eva: They's never quarantine me - I'm a Brit.
Dave: You do realize that when we call you a Brit that it's not short for British?
Eva: Yup. It's short for Brittany. Which is also a diminutive name of "Little Briton" after so many Britons settled in the region after the fall of the Roman Empire.
Dave: I never knew that much. And I'm pretty sure that border control dude won't know that.
Eva: I know. And I bet I'll have a long conversation with the border force guy to Brit-splain the intricacies of my heritage to him.
Dave: Is Brit-splaining what you do whenever Fred steps on you and you yell back at him.
Eva: Yes.
Dave: And how does that work out for you?
Eva: Not good. But the border force guy is unlikely to be a dullard so I am sure all will go well. All will be good. After-all I'm an expat.
Dave: An expat who was born in Canada.
Eva: I'm not talking about my immigration history. I'm an expert at being petted.
Dave: True that.
Eva: Let's pack some bags! I'm filling mine with crumpets and cookies!

The toy double decker has been in my daughter's room for years. It was something from my Great Aunt Oldge's apartment. Kind of nice that it found it's way into this week's photo.
Still arrange the experimentation drops image:)
Very enjoy them even quite difficult for my short sight:))
Thank you to keep in touch my lovely Fans Club:)
I arrived at work today - a different place from normal - and these were waiting. The flowers come from a lady's garden, and she likes to make table decorations and other arrangements just for fun. I think it's a wonderful expression of joy.
The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin is a vast field of 2,711 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern. It is designed to evoke a sense of disorientation and unease, reflecting the experience of the Holocaust victims. The memorial serves as a powerful reminder of the atrocities committed during World War II and honours the memory of the six million Jews who were killed.
Salix babylonica is a medium- to large-sized deciduous tree, growing up to 20–25 m (66–82 ft) tall. It grows rapidly, but has a short lifespan, between 40 and 75 years. The shoots are Yellowish-brown, with small buds. The leaves are alternate and spirally arranged, narrow, light green, 4–16 cm (1.6–6.3 in) long and 0.5–2 cm (0.2–0.8 in) broad, with finely serrate margins and long acuminate tips; they turn a gold-yellow in autumn. The flowers are arranged in catkins produced early in the spring; it is dioecious, with the male and female catkins on separate trees.
These nesting birds were quietly arranged along the muddy banks of their enclosed pond - the mounds of dirt are carefully sculpted by their beaks and feet, and on each nest a single egg will be laid.

My macro submission for this week's theme is a 24 image focus stack of my trusty Silva compass on an Ordnance Survey map of Glencoe. Specifically, I arranged the compass so that the wording of Stob Dearg - arguably the Glen's (Scotland's?!) most famous mountain - is highlighted. Stob Dearg is also known as Buachaille Etive Mor or The Great Shepherd.

The coastal towers constituted the defensive system, of sighting and of communication along the coastal strip of the whole island, at the time of the Kingdom of Sicily.
Most of the towers still existing were built on topological and design indications by the Florentine architect Camillo Camilliani, and are almost recognizable as a true design archetype. The Camilliani received the task of building the towers in 1583.
From a functional point of view the towers were divided into two main categories: the proper defense towers, which stood near the inhabited centers and were equipped with armed garrison. The watchtowers or watchtowers, smaller and arranged on the heights to watch many miles of sea. They all have an identical square-based structure, with a few simple internal divisions and a large cistern to collect rainwater.
Before reaching San Vito Lo Capo, on the Gulf of Castelluzzo-Macari, you can admire the Torre Isuliddra (pictured), recently restored.
