Commonly known as moth orchids, is a genus of about seventy species of orchids in the family orchid. Orchids in this genus are monopodial epiphytes or lithophytes with long, coarse roots, short, leafy stems and long-lasting, flat flowers arranged in a flowering stem that often branches near the end. Orchids in this genus are native to India, China, Southeast Asia, New Guinea and Australia with the majority in Indonesia and the Philippines. A few to many, small to large, long-lasting, flat, often fragrant flowers are arranged on erect to hanging racemes or panicles. The sepals and petals are free from and spread widely apart from each other. The lateral sepals are usually larger than the dorsal sepal and the petals much wider than the sepals. The labellum is joined stiffly to the column and has three lobes. The side lobes are erect and more or less parallel to each other and the middle lobe sometimes has a pair of appendages or antennae. 21908

Loch Morar is the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, penetrates far into the mountainous Lochaber region of Highland and has glacial origins. This photo was taken towards the end of the trail from Bracara to Tarbet looking east towards the mountains surrounding Glen Pean. The trail is easy to follow rising and falling along the north shoreline of the loch as the topology demands. Shortly after the point where the photo was taken, the trail climbs over the peninsular ridge to the north and down to Tarbet on the shore of Loch Nevis. You can arrange pickup here by a small passenger ferry but I chose to return by foot taking the same trail in reverse direction.
On the shoreline of the sandy cove in the foreground you might be able to make out a red deer - not a real one - there for target practice...

Der neue Bürocampus ist ein Ensemble aus verschiedenen Einzelgebäuden, die auf einem „grünen Teppich“ mit Bäumen, verbindenden Wegen und kleinen Plätzen angeordnet sind. Dem Konzern als Auftraggeber war es dabei besonders wichtig, dass sich die Neubauten flexibel an Veränderungsprozesse innerhalb des Unternehmens anpassen lassen. Die Kosten für den ersten Bauabschnitt des Hauptquartiers werden auf über 300 Millionen Euro beziffert.
Das Gebäude Q1 als Hauptgebäude des neuen Campus ist als markanter Hochpunkt auf der zentralen Wasserachse platziert, die dem Gelände seine Struktur verleiht. Neben diesem und weiteren Bürogebäuden gehören eine öffentliche Kita, das Veranstaltungsgebäude Q2, ein Parkhaus und eine Tiefgarage zum Quartier. Der städtebauliche und architektonische Entwurf des Campus steht für Offenheit, Begegnung und Kommunikation – innerhalb des Quartiers und nach außen in die angrenzenden Stadtteile.
The Thyssenkrupp headquarters, also officially known as the “thyssenkrupp Quartier”, is the corporate headquarters of Thyssenkrupp AG in the western quarter of the city of Essen. The quarter is the core of the urban development project Krupp-Gürtel and stands exactly on the ground on which Krupp with the cast steel factory in Essen has its roots. The new office campus is an ensemble of various individual buildings arranged on a “green carpet” with trees, connecting paths and small squares. As the client, it was particularly important to the group that the new buildings could be flexibly adapted to change processes within the company. The costs for the first construction phase of the headquarters are estimated at over 300 million euros.
Building Q1 as the main building of the new campus is placed as a prominent high point on the central water axis, which gives the site its structure. In addition to this and other office buildings, a public day-care center, the Q2 event building, a multi-storey car park and an underground car park are part of the quarter. The urban and architectural design of the campus stands for openness, encounters and communication - within the quarter and to the outside in the neighboring districts.

Crazy Tuesday theme Knolling
I'm not sure if I've got it right but hopefully this falls into the catergory of knolling - the stems are, afterall, in parallel to each other. Arranging the dry flowers and deceased insects and trying not to get shadows in the image has certainly driven me crazy! At least I can bin all the old flowers now. Happy Crazy Tuesday 😄

Macro Monday Hobby
Seit 30 Jahren spiele ich mit Freundinnen regelmäßig "Doppelkopf", ein Kartenspiel mit 40 Karten, das in aller Regel mit vier Personen gespielt wird. Wer mit wem spielt wird in jedem neuen Spiel neu geregelt, zwei Re / zwei Contra Partner. Die Spieler, die die Kreuzdamen in ihrem Blatt haben, bilden das Re Team, die beiden anderen Spieler sind Contra. Feste Regeln, wie beim Skat, gibt es beim Doppelkopf nicht. Das Spiel soll sich aus dem Kartenspiel "Schafskopf" entwickelt haben, Spielregeln/erläuterungen stehen unter anderem bei Wikipedia. Wir haben eine eigene Regel erstellt nach der wir spielen.
Begonnen haben wir mit vier Frauen, eine Freundin, sie war/ist nicht berufstätig, war/ist häufig auf Reisen und wir konnten nicht spielen, dann waren wir fünf, das gleiche Dilemma. Auch mit fünf Frauen fielen Termine aus, heute sind wir sechs Frauen und das Problem wurde nicht gelöst, die Welt lockt und so wird weiterhin viel gereist.
Von Anfang an wurde mit Geld gespielt, Grundpreis 5,00 DM/5,00€ jeder Punkt 0,5 Pfennig/Cent, das Geld wird in eine Kasse gezahlt, zur Bank gebracht und einmal im Jahr sind wir zusammen für ein Wochenende verreist, so waren wir in Kopenhagen, Prag, Barcelona, in Polen und in vielen Städten und Küsten in der Bundesrepublik. Konzerte/ Balettaufführungen stehen auf unserem Programm, einmal im Jahr gehen wir gemeinsam mit unseren Männern in der Adventszeit essen. Nach wie vor ist es schwierig gemeinsame Termine zu vereinbaren.Ich wünsche Euch eine wunderbare Woche, liebe Freunde. Danke für Euren Besuch, Kommentar und Fave <3<3<3
For 30 years I have been playing "Doppelkopf" with friends, a card game with 40 cards that is usually played by four people. Who plays with whom is regulated in each new game, two Re / two Contra partners. The players who have the cross ladies in their hand form the re team, the other two players are contra. Fixed rules, as with skat, there is the double head not. The game is said to have evolved from the card game "Schafskopf", game rules / explanations are available at Wikipedia. We have created our own rule according to which we play.
We started with four women, one friend, she was / is not working, was traveling frequently and we could not play, then we were five, the same dilemma. There were also appointments with five women, today we are six women and the problem has not been solved, the world is luring and so much is still traveling.
From the beginning money was played, base price 5,00 DM / 5,00 € each point 0,5 penny / cent, the money is paid into a cash register, brought to the bank and once a year we travel together for a weekend, so we were in Copenhagen, Prague, Barcelona, Poland and many cities and coasts in the Federal Republic. Concerts / Balettaufführungen are on our program, once a year we go together with our men in the Advent season in a restaurant for Advent dinner.. "The line_up is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The“liners” are made out of paper (Din A3),
oil paint and graphite, the theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers."

The Aqua Luna, known in Cantonese as the Cheung Po Tsai (張保仔), is a Chinese Junk operating in Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong. It was launched in 2006, and while it is named the Aqua Luna in English, in Cantonese it is named after the 19th-century Chinese pirate Cheung Po Tsai.
The Aqua Luna was built from scratch; it took a Hong Kong craftsman 18 months to construct using traditional shipbuilding methods under the supervision of a 73-year-old shipbuilder. It is owned by the Aqua Restaurant Group, and was launched in 2006 with a party on top of a building at Pier Four, in Hong Kong. It has two decks which offer 1,500 square feet (140 m2) with an upper deck cabin with sofas and a lower deck saloon. The ship can accommodate 80 passengers in addition to the crew. It is 28 metres (92 ft) long, and has three crimson sails arranged in a junk rig style. However, the sails are purely decorative, and the barge is motorised. It costs up to HK$80,000 to rent.

This one showed lots of personality while I watched its range of mannerisms. Here the crest is in a ragged punk rocker mode. She also "slicked back" and minimized the crest and arranged it every way in between the extremes.

On June 3rd Dresden said a final (?) goodbye to the Tatra T4 trams. The Czech classics were first "retired" 13 years ago but due to constant tram shortages were held in reserve. However, with enough new trams on hand and the upcoming requirements for barrier free requirements the DVB decided in 2023 to finally retire the remaining fleet. To say farewell a big ceremony was arranged with T4s operating to the far extents of the system. here one of the first trips of the day has reached the Weixersdorf halt and is now headed back into the city.

The peonies got tangled in the clouds.
They are attracted by the pale blue distances.
And it seems that right in front of my eyes,
They soared in the sky, flew...
And their petals smoothly and easily

The sun burst in, and everything disappeared somewhere...
but nothing.The ball is not over yet.
Until the evening, the heroes only dispersed.
And they are waiting impatiently for the day to come in heaven.
That's the hour. And the evening arranged everything....(this dance was performed in my garden...)
