Insect robot build after the description in Oreilly Make Arduino Bots and Gadgets
Detail: Just a quick working model hold together with tape velcro and cable binders ;-) Big eyes wrking with ultra sonic to measure the distance to avoid obstacles.
Video of V 0.0.1.2 here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHLnzWc7X3I

Few lightings taken with my 30D and the arduino lightnig trigger.. still mounted on the Breadboard :) ..
Originally the back was opaque but opening up the enclosure is a bit of a pain and I knew friends and co-workers would want to see the inside, so I switched to clear.
This is something I had been meaning to complete for quite a while. I needed something that was portable, clean and easy to store random things in to prototype stuff on the fly.
The Proto Desk allows me to sit on the couch with my laptop and arduino and mess around.
$9 ARDUINO lesson 2. I copied the code from the web site but had to add the int definitions. push the button and light the LED!
An Arduino Expermentation kit with Circuit 5 installed (how to use a Shift Register).

Bearing, Distance and ETA to a Way-point
The bearing can be shown either as cardinal directions or in degrees, and can be shown as relative or absolute in respect to true north.
The ETA can be based on either the current or the average speed of travel.

Built after this schematic: www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1206874649/8 - I only added two capacitors to buffer off voltage spikes when inserting the card as described here: elm-chan.org/docs/mmc/mmc_e.html
The SD-Card slot I had un-soldered from an old cheap digital camera.

My Arduino Synthesizer. Inspired by an article on Make (hooray for make!). It has an interface built in Processing to control the frequency and waveform.
