Just fixed my problem. I found out that I hadn't configured my virtual com port as needed and now all is good!!! You can't see it but I have a dimmer app running on that little LED.

Made some minor progress on this front tonight. With Serial MIDI and a bit of crude code of my own I've managed to get the keyboard (and Logic) talking to the Arduino.
