1066 - Normans invaded England taking battle at Hastings. William de Warenne fought in the battle and was rewarded by an estate at Acre in Norfolk among other riches.
The locals of Acre soon saw the impact of their new overlord – a castle and a Cluniac priory. The present building was started at around 1090 with the church given priority.
Here we are in the nave looking from the chancel towards the west front. The west front is the best preserved remain and considered one of the finest in England.
Sadly the interior suffered badly after the dissolution of the monasteries in the 1530s. Its finely dressed facing stones were removed over the centuries for building material. What remains is chalk and flint plus rubble cores.

Ce collège fait partie de la St Andrews University fondée en 1413 lorsqu'un groupe du clergé augustin, chassé de l'Université de Paris par le schisme d'Avignon et des universités d'Oxford et de Cambridge par les guerres anglo-écossaises, a formé une société d'enseignement supérieur à St Andrews, qui offrait cours de conférences sur la divinité, la logique, la philosophie et le droit.

Ses nombreux monuments, ses plages de sable et ses parcours du golf, dont les fameux links, font de la ville un centre touristique. Elle abrite également l'université de St Andrews.

Armsmear , also known as the Samuel Colt Home, is a historic house located at 80 Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. It was the family home of firearm manufacturer Samuel Colt. Armsmear was listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1976; this designation was expanded in 2008 to form the Coltsville Historic District, a National Historic Landmark District. 363
Le Harpa est situé au Austurbakki 2, près de l'intersection des rues Lækjargata et Kalkofnsvegur, à Reykjavik, capitale d'Islande. Une vue à partir de la Sculpture & Shore Walk qui longe la route 41 le long du rivage de la baie Faxaflói.

Etonnant, selon le jour, l'heure et l'état du ciel, sa carapace aux multiples écailles se métamorphose. À l'intérieur, le regard glisse sur les murs lisses et noirs comme de la lave, puis s'arrête sur le plafond couvert de miroirs en 3D.
Fantastic dome within the Winter Gardens in Blackpoool uk. I've not done it justice with lack of the tripod at the time but just has to get a shot of it! Although parts of Blackpool are run down this building internally still has its original charm and interesting arcitecture. Build started in 1875 and finished in 1878.Well worth a visit.

This house used to be falling apart . It had broken windows and peeling old yellow paint. A new life for this lovely house. The sky was a bonus :-)

The Brenizer method, sometimes referred to as bokeh panorama or bokehrama, is a photographic technique characterized by the creation of a digital image exhibiting a shallow depth of field in tandem with a wide angle of view. Created by use of panoramic stitching techniques applied to portraiture, it was popularized by photographer Ryan Brenizer.
The combination of these characteristics enables a photographer to mimic the look of large format film photography with a digital camera. Large format cameras use a negative that is at least 4×5 inches (102×127 mm) and are known for their very shallow depth of field when using a wide aperture and their unique high level of clarity, contrast and control. Image sensor formats of common digital cameras, in comparison, are much smaller, ranging down to the tiny sensors in camera phones. The Brenizer method increases the effective sensor size of the camera, simulating the characteristics of large format photography.
While the aesthetics of this form of imaging most closely resemble large format analog photography, its look has also led it to being compared to tilt shift photography. Both techniques create images that exhibit an unusually shallow depth of field.
Die Brenizer-Methode, manchmal auch als Bokeh-Panorama oder Bokehrama bezeichnet, ist eine fotografische Technik, die durch die Erstellung eines digitalen Bildes mit geringer Schärfentiefe und gleichzeitig großem Blickwinkel gekennzeichnet ist. Während die Ästhetik dieser Form der Bildgebung am ehesten der analogen Großformatfotografie ähnelt, wird sie aufgrund ihres Aussehens auch mit der Tilt-Shift-Fotografie verglichen. Beide Techniken erzeugen Bilder, die eine ungewöhnlich geringe Schärfentiefe aufweisen.

How do you guys feel today? I hope you are all good! I know that the photography theme here in Chicago last week was shooting the Chicago henge and I kinda wrapped myself in it. While practicing social distancing, and keeping a safe distance a friend and I went out in attempt to capture that light from a different perspective. Sun was blasting the golden light straight up the river that morning for sure! What do you think?
