ZEN MAGNETS - Neodymium Magnetic Balls (@432) - 2R-Hex Architecture Design - (Detail: Connection point [front] for very top tip)
This was created for the Zen Magnets 2R-Hex Architecture contest ... zenmagnets.com/blog/?p=236
The end result is a very portable Zen Corporate Headquarters Building design doubling as a trans-warp universe hopper spaceship ... making it possible for Zen Magnets to be anywhere in the galaxy and beyond.
The challenge on this design was two-fold: limiting subunit designs to 2L-Hex sheet variations and getting something balanced and architecturally stable enough to stand up on its own without the use of a metal sheet.
This was constructed entirely of 2-R-Hex (2-layer Hexagon sheets) folded and combined in various ways.

The combined 4 sheet 2-R-Hex (1 + 3) starts the component build details (Starting from the base section to the top).

La Pedrera was the last great civil work with Gaudí performed for a industrialist and politician Pere Milà and his wife Roser Segimon.
Gaudi designed the Casa Milà exclusively with natural forms, so that not a single right angle is to find. To visit is not only the yards. Visitors can also experience an apartment in the style of modernism from the beginning of the 20th Century.
ArcStart is a three-week long residential program for high school students that offers students the opportunity to explore the built environment firsthand through an introduction to architectural design. Participants will experience the rewarding intensity of an engaging college architecture studio, partake in skill-building workshops that reinforce analytical and conceptual problem solving skills, and visit architecturally significant projects in Ann Arbor and the immediate region. The Clyde Auditorium, familiarly known as "The Armadillo", is a concert venue and auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland. The building sits on the site of the now infilled Queen's Dock on the River Clyde, adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Plans for a new building to increase the capacity of the SECC complex were initiated in 1995. Designed by award-winning architects Foster and Partners, the 1,100 seat venue was completed in 1997, by which time it had earned its affectionate nickname due to the similarity of its shape to that of the animal of the same name. Many comparisons have been made with the Sydney Opera House, although this was not the architects' inspiration for the design, which was in fact an interlocking series of ship's hulls, in reference to the Clyde's shipbuilding heritage.
The building has quickly become one of the most recognisable on Clydeside and one of the iconic images of modern Glasgow. Its success has led to the construction of a third venue on the complex, the Scottish Hydro Arena.
It is connected by passageways to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, and the Crowne Plaza hotel for easy access and exit for high-profile performers.
The building served as the venue for the weightlifting competitions of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, held in Glasgow.
