A line up of former Exeter City Guy Arabs. The location is not known, but I would imagine that someone knows where these were stashed away. From the left, just in shot ?, in maroon XFJ752, XFJ751, UFJ296 with Limited Stop Torquay & To The Races banners, XFJ753 and XFJ750, also with Limited Stop Torquay banners. The original image stated to have been taken in August 1971.
This will also be on my site seawallprints.co.uk as soon as I can get around to it. Hope to have a dedicated former Exeter City page up soon. (an-1380f)
The Burj Al Arab (Tower of the Arabs) is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by British architect Tom Wright. It is 321 metres (1,053 ft) tall. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge.
Se puede definir a esta ciudad, como una ciudad vanguardista, inmersa en la gran tradición. situada en la costa y rodeada por un arroyo cercano al Desierto Árabe.
One of the most happening tourist attraction in Singapore that doesn't look like Singapore. The colourful murals on the wall of the old shophouses are the most attractive feature in this place beside the food and the beer.
Can't recall the 'Folkestone Town Tour' but in August 1973 they were using this Guy Arab on it. Here it is running out of Folkestone Depot, and passing a couple of the reasons why I gave up riding on East Kent for a long time - they had so many it was difficult to avoid the bloody things.
Taking place in London at the Park grand Hotel. Awards were given out to various Arab women. Read more on my blog soon.

There are two big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city.
Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535/1536. The other version states, that the madrasah was built to celebrate the victory of the sheybanid army over the troops of the Sefevid shah Ismail I in the battle of Gijduvan in 1512. It is also supposed that the final construction works were carried out on the funds of Ubaydulla-khan; the money received from the sale of 3000 captive Iranians to slavery.
This madrasah is considered one of the most interesting monuments of Bukhara, and is still an acting institution, where future imams and religious mentors receive their education.
Burj Al Arab is one of the places that you must see when you go to U.A.E.
i couldn't capture a good shot for that places since i didn't have much time there and my friends were complaining a lot ; never travel with someone who can't tolerate photography :)
anyway , this is the best shot that i came out with for Burj Al Arab so i hope you like it .
