The time when I am regularly behind the camera again is approaching. I live here now; in the desert. In dirt and sun, between Joshua Trees and wash board roads. I am finally home and no thing could bring me more joy.

The approach to Passau is beautiful. Passau is at the confluence of the Inn, Danube and Ilz Rivers. Our approach is on the Danube, and you can see the Inn to the left of the old city. It is also called "Three River City", the only city in the world that is at the confluence of three rivers, that continue on as one river.

Stretching out into the water is the causeway with the approach lights for runway 08L at Vancouver International.
