On the approach to Holmsley passage, a small stream is crossed (part of Avon Water) on one of the girder bridges on this section that escaped the cutters torch after closure.

A Sikorsky S-64E Skycrane from Siller Helicopters approaches the bend in the South Fork of the Smith River located next to County Road 427 where it will hover about eight feet above the river surface and pump up to 2000 gallons of water.
The aircraft was being employed by the U.S.F.S. in it's suppression efforts on the Coon fire that is part of the Gasquet Fire Complex burning in the northern section of the Six Rivers National Forest.

The design is by Bill Banford. The client approached us for a two part project. The first phase was to renovate the front of the property. The design included a paver driveway and paver walkway to replace a failing concrete pad and sidewalk. The enhanced entry way included a retaining wall, new steps and a portico. All elements of the design tie into the architecture of the home. The second phase was in the backyard. The client wanted to add to the entertainment area with an outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen included a built in grill, refridgerator, sink, big green egg, granite dining ledge and extra storage.

Approaching Wilton, ND — At about 8:55 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019, Dakota Missouri Valley and Western Railroad (DMVW) 5454, 6941, 5500 are at 227th Ave. NE, north of Baldwin, approaching Wilton, ND with a northbound train.
DMVW 5454 is an SD50F. Reportedly: it was built by the Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada, Ltd. as SD50F CN 5454 in 1987, serial number A4631.
