The 2017 Annual Earth Science Applications Showcase was held Friday, August 4, 2017 at NASA Headquarters in Washington. Every summer students and young professionals from NASA’s Applied Sciences’ DEVELOP National Program come to NASA Headquarters and present their research projects. DEVELOP is a training and development program where students work on Earth science research projects, mentored by science advisers from NASA and partner agencies, and extend research results to local communities. I detail the construction of the costume:
- Dark brown leather boots
- Pants dikies 874 in burgundy color
- Burgundy in lien fabric tunic with fitted sleeves
- Navy wool fabric knee-length vest surcoat with split in the back and closed sides
- Dark brown leather Belt with capsules food, lightsaber clip, two pouches (breather pouch and grappling hook) and leather right pouch
- Right hand ROTS style glove without buckles
- Left dark brown gauntlet
- Dark grey chest armour with battle damage in 3D printing
- Detached dark grey shoulder bells/armour with red Jedi emblem on left shoulder with battle damage both in 3D printing
- Anakin’s ROTS lightsaber hilt
- Anakin’s right-eye scar
Shotcreting Machine Application:
Shotcreting for tunnels, hydro-power engineering, mines, underground engineering, civil engineering and slope stabilization, etc.
Artificial soil seeding for no soil surface, such as rock, sand, and for no fertility soil surface.
Refractory spraying and repair for industrial kilns or kilns’ inner liner.
