There aren't many situations that make me rush these days - but this would be one.
The alcohol licensing laws of the United Kingdom regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Some long-standing traditions (indeed, legal requirements) have disappeared as a consequence. First, "permitted hours" gained a new meaning. Until the 2003 Act came into force on 24 November 2005, permitted hours were a standard legal constraint: for example, serving alcohol after 23:00 meant that a licensing extension had to exist—either permanent (as for nightclubs, for example), or by special application from the licensee concerned for a particular occasion. There was also a customary general derogation permitting a modest extension on particular dates, such as New Year's Eve and some other Public Holidays. Licensees did not need to apply for these and could take advantage of them if they wished without any formality. Now, permitted hours are theoretically continuous: it is possible for a premises licence to be held which allows 24-hour opening, and indeed some do exist.
Most licensed premises do not go this far, but many applied for licences in 2005 that allowed them longer opening hours than before. However, as in the past, there is no obligation for licensees to use all the time permitted to them. Premises that still close (for commercial reasons) at 23:00 during most of the week may well have licences permitting them to remain open longer, perhaps for several hours. Staying open after 23:00 on the spur of the moment is therefore legal at such premises if the licensee decides to do so. The service of alcohol must still cease when the licence closing time arrives. Only the holder of the comparatively rare true "24-hour" licence has complete freedom in this respect.

Bodyfy is bimontly event (april, june, august, october, december) that regroup designers of different background that will present their creations in one location. The general theme is connected to everything that touches the skin (skin, tattoo, makeup , scarification , henna , piercing , jewelry, body part, mesh head and more.) The style is industrial, alternative, grunge or other similar style. Clothes are not allowed at this event.
This event is for women, men or unisex items. Bodyfy opening on December 8th and ends on Dec 24 th. Each designer will have to create one exclusive item related the theme and it’s not a discount event. We are reaching for high quality items and there is no prices limit.

A beautiful artist’s concept of an earth-orbiting Apollo Applications Program (AAP) configuration, possibly of an experimental micro-gravity biology module…maybe… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯…docked to the Apollo Command/Service Module (CSM).
The scientist-astronaut seems – I think – to be using a snazzy microscope of some sort, although I’m having some perspective issues regarding it, to include what the large rectangular component with the conical appendage is being used for. Photomicrography? And how it correlates with the other components in the immediate vicinity, which may include dual/binocular eyepieces?
Note also the item that looks like a bubble helmet on the half shelf to the left of the scientist-astronaut. I think I see the vague, barely perceptible features of a human head inside it. Do you see it??? GOOD GOD, what kind of unholy experiments were under consideration?!? 😲😉
And, I can’t seem to identify the rough, textured, metallic(?)…’mass’ depicted on the other side of the module, across from the scientist-astronaut. And, it looks like there’s a fixed stool in front of it.
Based on the strong similarity of this CSM to that in another work I’ve linked to below, which is also from this series of works (based on photo ID no. sequence), I really think it, and this one is by Raymond Bruneau. That other one has the letters “RB”, with an arrow adjacent to it, depicted as if it were part of the surface markings on the exterior of the Service Module. That, and the fact that Mr. Bruneau chose to use actual photographs of the earth in a number of his earth orbit depictions, such as this one, gives me confidence in my identification.
Finally, although I haven’t been able to find a match from the exemplars available online, I’m sure the Neil Armstrong signature is an autopen.

With an healthy brake application from the 26LUM brake valve located in 9450's cab, a few notches were given on the throttle as L580 successfully crossed Québec Route 113 road crossing just south of the former location of Val-Piché station on remote Chapais subdivision.
With an heavy train of Zinc gons in tow and a roller-coaster track profile, a locomotive engineer working the "SM pool" have always his hands quite busy, keeping the 25MPH track speed on the dot along with minimizing slack action.
This crew workday began at 2300 the day before in Senneterre,QC, the hub of Abitibi territory operation. Deadheading by cab to Franquet, the junction point between Chapais and Matagami subdivision and one of the last reachable point on the line, in order to relieve the "1st 581 crew" who ran the job from Senneterre to Franquet. The 2nd 581 crew boarded the engine and headed thru the darkness of the 61 mile-long Matagami subdivision toward the namesake town of 1500 or so souls.
Spotting the huge Matagami Mines Zinc plant was the first thing done after arriving in town and after relieved the needs of the mine and pulling the outbound loads, diesel fuel was delivered to the local dealer along with cement and empty woodchip cars for the other railway customers in town. At the same time, they collected the released cars and built their outbound train.
It's now early in the morning and after backing up the small train toward the subdivision's half moon, the crew of two went to bed at the local railway bunk situated no more than 100 feet from the idling 645 prime mover.
The return trip began a mere 6-hours after closing their eyes. Bunk was cleaned, handbrakes released and 9450 was soon on the move bound for home.
Rolling about a mile, the train was leaved on the main and light engine rounded the east leg of Matagami wye in order to grab those loaded gons of Zinc, prepared in the wee hours of the day. After a quick brake test and a call to the RTC for an OCS clearance, L580 was quickly on the move and out of town. They must bring back the train to Senneterre before expiring on the 12th hour law.
That day, a side trip was in order to serves Langlois Mine in Grevet,QC near the end of the active part of the Chapais subdivision.
Unfortunately, a single GP40-2 can't pull all the collected cars over that hilly track profile and trafic were leave into one of Franquet back track.
And now we are, watching the diminutive train, racing back toward Senneterre yard before reaching the 12th hour of work, throttle in 4th notch dodging a "run in" from the loaded cars behind on a cloudy late afternoon day in Abitibi.
It's believe that harsh active forest fires in that area completely destroyed many parts of CN Chapais and Matagami subdivision. Damage are still unknown at this time as a part of Senneterre and Lebel-sur-Quévillon cities are stil evacuated and more than 80 fires are still active in Abitibi part of Québec.
For now, Quévillon and Matagami didn't saw active rail service since more than two weeks. CN abolished the "SM Pool" in Senneterre and trafic bout for these trackage was stacked in Senneterre yard.
Also, Matagami Mine closed their Matagami operation in June 2022 ending an operation who began in 1963. With CN's biggest customer out of town and possibly miles and miles of damaged track and structure on the line, many advanced the fact that it may be the end of the Matagami subdivision.

Searching small abandoned Jedi hideout in Malaastre system, large forest fields, everywhere you can be ambushed Zillo Beast or Dug raiders, isn't fun.
We got echo from Imperial Inteligence about group of one two Jedi masters and one Padawan, plus some humans still beliving in Jedi order hiding somewhere on northwest parts of the planet. Jedi with his Padawan got 501st. two days ago, they lost one just one member. We, 41st., splited on groups per 15 soldiers must order Palpatine's Order 66 followed his vision about order in Galaxy - kill next Jedi. 35 years old male human Jedi Master is our target and we can't fail. Intelligence says she should be hide in old Comunication outpost.
Then said web are almost here, first traces of civilization are antenna and some type of vaporator. We must moving silent, like says our training, be ready for everything. We are here, outpost on the clearing in the woods hidden in rocks. Everyone expects a snare but nothing happened yet. Control panel of main entry isn't in the best condition but looks like a working. New plan is raid in base, I must turn on night vision on my helmet because is twilight and the last rays of the sun aren't enough.

Jedi we found was hidden in the abandoned Comunication outpost and was subsequently neutralized. He was surprised and did not cause much injury and no death. The body was burned and the lightsaber confiscated. The whole unit is now pointing to the pickup. CT-8678-55 ends

I would like to introduce new RPG group called Dark Times, group is focused on timeline after Order 66, for application - like me, you must make executing Order 66. I have to admit that with writing stories like this I have not had experience so far, and I have always admired the other work and time spent with it. But now I know it's really fun and fun as if you were writing your own book. This scene is from my Comunication base Zero 4, whitch I still own, but I also used it as good application scene.
Huge thanks for Photoshop mag, ruleyourgalaxy, for his fantastic edit, all comments about photo quality and cool effects deserves Malen. An exhausted patron seen and photographed taking a needed stretch while viewing an art exhibit at the de Young Fine Arts Museum (FAMSF) in San Francisco, California. A trip to the museum can be an enriching activity and one that enhances you culturally and spiritually, but physically it can sometimes feel like running a marathon.
This photographic image was artistically enhanced using an
application called "Prisma". Prisma transforms normal photos into amazing images that attempt to replicate the human artistic touch. This phone-based app turns photographs into digital art in the style of drawings, watercolors, and paintings.
This photo was taken at a "decisive moment" while two ladies pictured in the de Lempicka portrait on the wall look down upon the patron with the outstretched arms.
