We're very excited to announce Candy Fair 2014 designer applications will be opening May 1st through June 1st, 2014
This years Candy Fair will be October 3rd - October 17th, 2014
We'll be opening applications early because we have a lot of plans for this years Candy Fair and last year we had hundreds of applications. We're going to be taking a month just to go through and decide on stores/sponsors for this years fair. We will be capping at 100 stores not including our 8 sponsors. Stay tuned more info coming May 1st, 2014! Bloggers we will be doing things a bit different this year so stay tuned to info in regards to that coming May 1st as well!

Bodyfy is bimontly event (april, june, august, october, december) that regroup designers of different background that will present their creations in one location. The general theme is connected to everything that touches the skin (skin, tattoo, makeup , scarification , henna , piercing , jewelry, body part, mesh head and more.) The style is industrial, alternative, grunge or other similar style. Clothes are not allowed at this event.
This event is for women, men or unisex items. Bodyfy opening on December 8th and ends on Dec 24 th. Each designer will have to create one exclusive item related the theme and it’s not a discount event. We are reaching for high quality items and there is no prices limit.
May is coming to an end, and Abstrakt grows closer with every passing day.
Our selection process continues behind the scenes as we shape the final experience for this upcoming season.
Many creators have already found their place within the mansion walls — and we are still keeping our eyes open for those who feel aligned with the atmosphere, vision and identity of Abstrakt.
If your work belongs in the dark, the elegant and the unconventional, this may be the moment to step forward.

Time: Months after the battle of Geonosis
This place is horrid. I have been stuck here for months now.Soon I will be transferred to a new unit, the 253rd. I was stationed here after the succesful invasion during which most of my unit was killed.Our outpost was quickly constructed and is undermanned.Everyone here wants to leave but it looks like I am the only one that will be leaving soon. The planet is nothing but dust, dirt and debris from the recent battle. Hopefully this 253rd legion will be better than here.

The exhibition with touching video projects, unique sound fragments and the most up-to-date multimedia applications immerse you in the life at the front. each visitor also receives a poppy bracelet that enables him/her to discover four personal stories of 'Joe Public' in the Great War. By logging in you can meet your peers in the war, a century ago.

A commercial forest seen through the ‘eyes’ of a 3D laser scanning system developed by the ESA-supported Treemetrics company.
The trees of planet Earth – recently estimated to number three trillion in total – are both environmental and economic resources, and require careful stewardship.
“We estimate 20% of global forest resources are currently going to waste as they are harvested,” explains Enda Keene, CEO of Irish company Treemetrics.
“What Treemetrics aims to deliver is more wood from fewer trees, through a complete end-to-end forest management system. It combines forest mapping, assessment and valuing with decision-making tools for harvest planning as well as real-time monitoring of the cutting and collecting process.”
Treemetrics developed a project in collaboration with ESA’s Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) programme’s Integrated Applications Promotion to integrate satellite communications into its system, enabling managers to monitor their equipment and track harvesting as it happens, even from remote forest locations.
The company can perform forest mapping through aerial and drone photography and ‘laser radar’ lidar, as well as satellite Earth observation – using missions including ESA’s Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2.
These maps are given a third dimension through ‘ground truthing’. Laser scanners perform a 360-degree survey at regular intervals to measure the straightness and health of trees – accurately estimating their quality as logs in advance of them being logged.
Mr Keene adds: “We are very grateful for the great technical, financial and business planning support we received through ESA’s IAP, which enabled the creation of a world class product for the global forest industry.”
The company’s customers to date include state forest agencies in 26 countries, as well as private forest owners and government agencies.

First of all, I thank all the friends of this Flickr community who have been concerned about my health and in all the ways they have been tempted to hear from me and have written words of affection and concern to me.

It has been a long time since I used the camera to take a photo to be published on Flickr, the last photo published dates back to January 13th. Since then there has been a sequence of negative circumstances.
It all started in December 2019 when I realized that the medicine I was taking to regulate blood pressure, a little high, did not work very well. After a couple of weeks of cardiology, radiology and so on, the doctors decided to change the medicine, same dosage but a different medicine.
At that time I had little free time and little desire for photos, but the problem was solved and now with the new drug I am much better.
Then, after over fifteen years of service, the computer monitor stopped working. I ordered a new monitor which arrived after a few days. But as soon as I connected the monitor I realized that the computer did not turn on ... The computer was also more than 15 years old, still with the XP operating system.
I ordered a new computer and the prospect of having to spend a lot of time setting up the new computer and including all the applications that were in the old one made me enter the mood of ... laziness ...
F ... O .. modern technology ...
Then came the Coronavirus. All closed in the house. Grumble !!!!
At this point I reflected for a long time on the oddity of our life and the life of our parents and grandparents. We have to fight a deadly virus that spreads all over the world but they had to face two World Wars in a few decades.
They had the courage and strength to resist and win, so we too must have the courage and strength to go ahead and fight this virus all together even if, ironically, we have to stay at least one meter apart. Physically distant but close in spirit and in the will to win this battle.
For this reason, when I read the theme of "Smile on Saturday" I immediately thought of the gesture that made Churchill famous and that encouraged millions of people to fight and win.

Searching small abandoned Jedi hideout in Malaastre system, large forest fields, everywhere you can be ambushed Zillo Beast or Dug raiders, isn't fun.
We got echo from Imperial Inteligence about group of one two Jedi masters and one Padawan, plus some humans still beliving in Jedi order hiding somewhere on northwest parts of the planet. Jedi with his Padawan got 501st. two days ago, they lost one just one member. We, 41st., splited on groups per 15 soldiers must order Palpatine's Order 66 followed his vision about order in Galaxy - kill next Jedi. 35 years old male human Jedi Master is our target and we can't fail. Intelligence says she should be hide in old Comunication outpost.
Then said web are almost here, first traces of civilization are antenna and some type of vaporator. We must moving silent, like says our training, be ready for everything. We are here, outpost on the clearing in the woods hidden in rocks. Everyone expects a snare but nothing happened yet. Control panel of main entry isn't in the best condition but looks like a working. New plan is raid in base, I must turn on night vision on my helmet because is twilight and the last rays of the sun aren't enough.

Jedi we found was hidden in the abandoned Comunication outpost and was subsequently neutralized. He was surprised and did not cause much injury and no death. The body was burned and the lightsaber confiscated. The whole unit is now pointing to the pickup. CT-8678-55 ends

I would like to introduce new RPG group called Dark Times, group is focused on timeline after Order 66, for application - like me, you must make executing Order 66. I have to admit that with writing stories like this I have not had experience so far, and I have always admired the other work and time spent with it. But now I know it's really fun and fun as if you were writing your own book. This scene is from my Comunication base Zero 4, whitch I still own, but I also used it as good application scene.
Huge thanks for Photoshop mag, ruleyourgalaxy, for his fantastic edit, all comments about photo quality and cool effects deserves Malen.
