Marco Was born in Hazzard range county ( county north of Apache county ) on Jan 3 1935 his family moved to Apache in 1945 he served in Vietnam War and from 1974 to 1982 he was a deputy Sheriff for ACSO Sheriff little has been sheriff since 1982,. After 32 year as sheriff and at age 79 he decided not run for reelection . In real life in New Mexico a sheriff is term limited with only two consecutive four year terms allowed. In fictional New Mexico where Apache County is there is no term limit.

Now that summer is ending, the blooming cycle is over on this Apache Plume and the feathery pods are now appearing. I actually like them better than the white blossoms it produces.

Apache Jumping Spider (Phidippus apacheanus) juvenile. The markings on the abdomen are characteristic of a 6th or 7th instar. Found lurking on the sunflowers lining my driveway. Arvada, Jefferson Co., Colo. (Pet stores specializing in unusual species commonly sell one of these spiders for about $50.)
Apache got jealous of Spotlight walking beside me after Apache and I played tag.. Here she is showing her jealous streak..
Now mind ya ...Apache does not have a mean bone in her body and will not take up for herself at all.. She is the low man on the todum pole... When I turned around and called her name she stopped and walked over and gave me a kiss!! She was so funny.

A British Army AgustaWestland Apache AH Mk1 from Army Air Corps Wattisham Airfield. This helicopter prepares to depart RAF Northolt following a stop-over for an organised nightshoot, giving the crew a chance to refuel, and grab a break from a training exercise.

Three Alcos lead a train away from Holbrook, Arizona on the Apache Railway. For those not familiar with the US scene, these are classic locos dating from the 60s/70s much sought after by railfans - the equivalent, perhaps, of our class 37s. 24th October 2018.

RAF Apache helicopter training as seen from Mount Snowdon, 09/09. The photo was snatched in an instant from the open window of a steam-hauled train on the narrow gauge rack railway that climbs to the summit. The Apache swooped past unexpectedly (presumably on low flying mounatin training) and I was lucky enough to have my camera at the ready.
