Fallugia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants containing the single species Fallugia paradoxa, which is known by the common names Apache plume and póñil. This plant is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, where it is found in arid habitats such as desert woodlands and scrub.

Un mois que j'essaie de le photographier , un mois qu'il évente mes ruses de Sioux !
Faut dire qu'avec lui , je suis obligé d'être difficile et de vouloir "la" photographie... Et dans celle ci , j'adore le "ton sur ton" !
Et ce matin , je lai attendu dans mon abris , un oeil sur "l'Héritage Scarlatti" de Ludlum , et ma vison périphérique à guetter le moindre mouvement extérieur...
Et je l'ai vu arriver de loin , en vol plané plongeant...J'ai jeté mon roman et ai pointé mon appareil à l'endroit ou j'estimais qu'il allait se poser.... (Ca , c'est un mélange de "coup de bol" et d'observation du comportement de l'oiseau .)
Et il s'est posé exactement ou je l'attendais , juste deux secondes , le temps de faire quatre photos !
