He who binds to himself a joy
does the winged life destroy,
but he who kisses the joy as it flies
lives in eternity's sun rise.

During the "Group Scramble," if they got an answer wrong, they had to take back the sheet of paper with the problem.
After putting the cover on, it was time to check the machine would still replay the announcment tape properly.
You know I am a "Gemini" born... and my birhday is at the end of May.
My Ascendent is "Virgin". And in the Chinese astrology I am a "Snake".
I think that mixture is the reason why I love surprises... and therefore all things that are surprising
- like a message in a window for example -
do attract me?

In the 1960’s, Russell Barton answered his country’s call and served in the US Navy in Vietnam. Today, his country, and the American Red Cross are helping this veteran and fire evacuee.
Russell joined two neighbors who jumped in a truck and evacuated South Lake Tahoe several days ago, as the Calder Fire raced toward their community.
Now, Russell is staying in the Red Cross shelter set up inside the cavernous Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Russell says, it reminds me of boot camp, but without the bunk beds!”
He has a cot, blankets, food, water and bathroom facilities, but he has other critical needs. That’s where the U.S. government and the Red Cross joined forces.
A team from the Veterans Administration - including a nurse, a pharmacist and a social worker, are helping veterans seeking refuge in the shelter. They brought in supplemental oxygen for Russell, along with prescription medicines, which he was forced to leave behind.
Russell says he is simply grateful for their help. “I’m being treated well.”

They ignored my mails so i made a poster from it and post it as art in thier front page, took them 10 min to reply me back.
One of the most surreal moments of the whole night was when I asked a question during the Q&A, and for a moment, Mark Cohen himself was there, answering *my* question, talking to *me*. I can't put into words the emotional weight those very few moments will have with me forever.
Maj. Gen. Roger Cloutier, commanding general of U.S. Army Africa, gave remarks and answered questions July 24, 2019, to the Europe and Africa Contracting Coordination Board at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy.
More than 60 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and civilians met in order to share information, coordinate acquisition strategies, and alleviate duplicative efforts to fulfill similar contracting support requirements through theater-strategic sourcing.
"We couldn't execute our mission without your support," Cloutier said to the room. "You're the unsung heroes of every exercise and training. I'm here today to say thank you for all you do."

Sometime after her marriage to a much older man, Lizbeth began to worry when no baby got started. Tests showed that her husband was "almost" sterile. Several years of prayer and the miracle - a healthy baby boy. He is 22 days old in this picture and is already holding up his head and pushing to get closer to Mommy.
