“It was a question I had worn on my lips for days - like a loose thread on my favourite sweater I couldn't resist pulling - despite knowing it could all unravel around me.
"Do you love me?" I ask.
In your hesitation I found my answer.”
― Lang Leav
Before going back to KDON, Don had a few spare dollars he thought worth spending to learn about his future from the "All knowing, all seeing Mama Rat." Booley and Maddy -- never ones to pass up a captive, paying audience -- thought the new couples might like an extra activity to continue growing acquainted with each other. Rat struck the jackpot with gullible Don Buzzle....
Don: [clears voice concernedly after Mama Rat's initial premonition] "Well, that was a bit vague...what do you mean you see darkness looming?"
Rat's daughter Katie quickly speaks up: "Mama Rat says she can study the future more closely---for two more dollars."
Don: "I've got $3 left: How many tarot cards will that buy me?"

The fortune reads "SIMPLICITY IN YOUR LIFE WILL ENSURE YOUR HAPPINESS". How often do we choose not to see signs of help? How often do we choose not to listen to good advice? After lunch I was thinking of what my photo for today would be and this fortune cookie and it's advice answered. :) By the way, it was a delicious lunch!
Often when I see people pitch X-men reboots, they do one of two things: A) Do the original Uncanny X-men roster of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel and Iceman or B) Just plugs in every popular X-men right off the bat. I don't like either of these. The uncanny X-men roster is kinda bland, while having every popular X-man in one movie would obviously not work.
My ideal line up would comprise of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Storm and Angel. Professor X and Beast would also be present but as mentors to the team, not actual X-men.
This is what I used as my prop for yesterday's mystery photo. Although I took this photo from much higher than I did for the original.

Sometimes I find it hard to put it into words what I feel when I see how I've changed recently and especially as in many respects I feel I'm still the same me. I imagine the time it has taken me to reach this point must be the reason but in a way I feel I've done very little to transititon I just became Jojo by getting up each morning and looking in the mirror and of course getting a constant trace or two of hormones from herbs I take every day. I shouldn't grumble about any of that as that is how how it should be. No I didn't even say a little prayer every night before I went to bed saying "Dear Lord please let me be a girl, I promise not to be naughty." Having said that I'm sure wouldn't have believed me as he knows what I'm like.
Holmes & Watson go to extraordinary measures in an attempt to find someone who can answer their questions.
Answering the theme for February, which was "Red". Here's the guitarist from Friday's gig at the Duke of York in Belfast.

Here you are what I was doing here and here :
I was waiting for my son Domenico involved in his last job interviews before being engaged by the C.I.R.A. (Italian Aerospace Research Center) - which you can see the main entrance in the photo published here.
I am really happy for him and proud of him ... reasearch has always been his greatest passion!.
Today is his first day at the new job.

No explanation here other than the answer to your question is “yes.” I won’t say when exactly, but it was in the 20th century. A past life? Maybe.
I could tell you the story about this, but it would end up being an autobiography.
This effect was simply created by layering and blending two photos in Photoshop Mix.
I just have to say "Thank You" to all my contacts!! You have been so supportive! You have listened to me when I was in doubt, encouraged me, answered all my questions and have always shown up when I needed that last award to go on to the next level especially in Rainbow. Plus you have continually provided me with beautiful images to admire and inspire to. THANK YOU!!
One question ... 2 answers , infinite viewpoints !. Is it art ?
Or is this FHING ART ? for those who appreciate anagrams and old money !
For reference - area in picture approximately 10mm ( 1cm ) width.
In this instance to get this close I used a Miranda 35-70 fitted back to front via reversing ring to triple extension tubes. Shot at f22. I used liveview and a macro slider to make focussing easier - though with these longer exposures I really do need to think about finding a more solid base to put the objects on than my coffee table ! I could also consider using flash !
Answer: Not very. You don't even need to get out of your car. Just go to a national park where they ignore people in vehicles.
Here is Cecil in 2014, with two tourist vehicles (and two more out of shot), resting in the heat of the day. Standing up occasionally, turning around, yawning, lying down again and going back to sleep. Just like cats the world over.
The real challenge is to miss a shot at this range and to have to spend the next two days trying to find a wounded lion that has gone to ground, so that you can have it killed properly, beheaded and skinned. Giving you "hard-earned" trophies as proof of your derring-do.
